  1. Yes, it can be done. Factors to consider: time of year and number of ships in port (you will want a readily available taxi and few back ups), number of passengers in your party, being able to handle your luggage (you usually are required to have one free hand to use on escalator...you can use elevator but wait can be time consuming), and whether it is a vacation or week breaker if you miss it (you want the right attitude...if you miss it, you must be willing to be comfortable rescheduling). That being said, we have made a 10:00 am flight getting off of Oasis.

  2. We (DH and I) made a 10:40 am flight in September. We walked off with our luggage to a pre-booked shuttle, but were truly prepared to rebook flight if times did not align. (Cost and hassle of rebooking for 2 would have been minimal, and we needed to get home as early in the day as possible.)

Also the new terminal is supposed to be open by the time you cruise. Not sure what difference that will make. :)

  3. We have booked a cruise from Boston leaving September 28. Wanting to spend a few days in Boston prior, but now realize that it is last Sox home stand for the season....should we cancel and go another time...hotels aren't showing much for that weekend. Is staying post cruise a better option? Most city hotels are higher during the work week.
