If you booked before Oct 2, 2023 you can inform GS to reduce the rate to 14. Under 12 is half price.
Good to know! Thanks

I just need to have all costs predictable and accurate for someone.
Recently on RCCL OV cabin, gratuities were 18pp x 4 in that cabin.
$72 a day. $504 for the 7 night.
-
How are gratitudes handled?
Envelopes like the old days?

About to book my first MSC cruise.
What other costs will pop up beyond the cruise cost, tax and port charges? Thanks!

Where’s the best place to watch Super Bowl on Zaandam? Thanks

Thanks All. I had visions of bumping my head every time I stood up. Feeling better with your reassurance. The photo helped too. Nothing like seeing one.

Hi, I requested inside room for two. The agent booked us in a 3 person room. Says the couch folds out but the cabin mapper describes a pullman. Doesn't say if from wall or ceiling. If it sticks out I want a room for two not 3. We don't need it and I want the precious little space.
The room is 7233. Thanks in advance.

Probably because the previous portion FLL to LA had some Covid cases
I just show this to the bio Covid officer here in Explorers lounge. He said
“the yellow flag is down”. CDC clerical delay?

Very happy for you. I just hope no one brings it back aboard. Look forward to hearing all about the four days in Tahiti and Bora Bora. From one picture someone posted it looks like lovely weather. Sigh...
Not gonna lie. That thought crossed my mind.

Like so many others, I postponed a haircut before this cruise to avoid potential exposure to Covid.
This morning Oksana in the Viking spa gave me a fabulous haircut. I would highly recommend her for anybody who is considering the same. And then when I returned to my room, there was a rainbow outside the window. All signs of good things to come.

Very important life lesson tip…just because you have 2 bottles of wine in your quarantine room does not mean you have to finish them both, then have a pre-dinner drink, then 3 glasses of wine with dinner!
Very rough start to the day for me. I could blame the rough seas, but I think I know better. Got some anti-nausea meds from Guest Services and had a good nap. I think I’m ready for some lunch and to get on with enjoying the cruise (within reason, of course)! 😂
See you out there!

All eight drinks are available at the Skywalkers event each day for the special price of $6.50. I haven't looked at a drink menu to see how much of a savings that is. They are boulevardier, Mayan mule, floradora, port lemonade, Bacardi limon mojito, cherry blossom garden, deep sea martini, and Tito's fresh mint lemondrop. There's another thread here on Cruise Critic about what's in the drinks. DH had the last one. It was a strong drink. We have not tried the others. I'm limited as to how much alcohol I can drink, and he started a new medicine that he can't drink at all with.
There are two dispensers--one with body wash and one with shampoo (supposedly with conditioner included with the shampoo). There's no longer separate conditioner except for those receiving the suite amenities.
We were never told fully what the technical problem was after leaving Guernsey. I think the propulsion problem kept us from being able to make up the time. But we ended up with the full time we were supposed to get, just four hours later. Our tablemates, for instance, had their excursion turn from including a stop for lunch to having a stop for dinner. But otherwise, I can't tell that the ship isn't moving as fast as it did when we were on it December.
Hi,
You have another follower. Thanks for posting. We'll be on the Sept. 10 transatlantic cruise.

We're booked on the Sept. 10 transatlantic cruise. Our TA explained the situation like this...
Normal speed is 21 knots
Due to technical issues, new speed 19 knots
She explained that the ships arrival at a port and parking in order for other ships is critical.
If our ship holds up the other's everyone is tangled up in a parking mess.
For those ports, CB had to rearrange to avoid chain reaction with other ships.
This is the gist of my understanding from what she said.
Still have a few days before final payment.
Because of the added sea days, and it's our first transatlantic trip, feeling boredom may be too much.

Plan to book 7 day Alaska cruise in June.
Considering post cruise land tour.
Will all of our time be in transit? It almost appears that way.
Anyone ?

Does the Classic package include Martinis and Cosmopolitans, even if they are smaller sized? Thanks. I cannot locate a price sheet for mixed drinks anywhere on the Celebrity website.
Yes it does include both. And it includes specialty coffee like latte' , specialty teas.
On Celebrity's web site, they have beverage packages listed under the link
already booked?
By the end of the cruise, I had sampled about 20 different mixed drinks. Classic package.
-
The classic and premium beverage packages are actually posted online. Its celebrity ************ and it's under already booked? Link the beverage packages.
There is a martini bar on board and I would order any martini that was in the menu and I always got it but it was in a smaller glass.

I'm in Grenada right now on the celebrity eclipse and yes it does include probably 20 different martinis but the classes are smaller in size than the big martinis. I will take a picture of the list it's pretty long actually and post it when my vacation is over which won't be for another week

This should be available when booking.
Husband's favorite beer is listed for $6. Whew! Something small or big like that could change everything. Thank You, thank you again.
We're booked Jan 18, 2015 Southern Caribbean.
