The Grand has one.
The Island Princess has one.
The Star Princess has one.
They are located on the Sports deck. Other ships may have them too. These are the only ones I have seen.

There are always complainers. I remember one time sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge on way to Alaska, a lady next to us at the sailaway was on the phone to her mother loudly complaining about everything. The one thing that stands out is her complaining about no flat screen TV. At this point, we had not even looked at the TV in our room. Some people live to complain.

My favorite is whatever ship I am on next. For me that is the Pacific Princess for a B2B starting November 22nd. Have never been on her, but the reviews are great.

Has anyone traveled in November from San Francisco to Hawaii? I am wondering what type of coats/jackets to being and are the seas very rough at this time of year?
Thank you...
I was on this same cruise last year and we had a lot of rain in Hawaii. But the worst thing was 1 day out of Hilo heading for Ensenada a tender port door opened and a hydraulic arm broke so it could not be closed. It took us two and a half days to return to Honolulu where we were flown home.
The year before that same cruise had a kitchen fire and had to fly everyone home.
I think this year will be fine. I love that cruise. So much fun.

For what it's worth, the units mounted to the ceilings here/there/everywhere are "wireless access points", not repeaters. The WAPs are wired into the network infrastructure, and are locally originating/receiving wireless signals from/to the wired network (and most likely tunneling your traffic back to a wireless LAN controller), not repeating the signal wirelessly to another device.
That said, I'd have to guess that there's a problem. Could you get intranet (i.e. "Princess @Sea") coverage from your room? Because the internet (metered by time) is merely a login on top of the same intranet service you can (usually) get everywhere, I don't think it's feasible that the deck 5/6/7 WAPs are in a different WAP group (you'd have to "roam" between groups every time you entered the deck 5/6/7 or left it).
Probably just need to power cycle those access points occasionally.

Last December I was on a round trip to Hawaii from San Francisco. This trip always stops in Ensenada. Unfortunately after we left Hilo on the way to Ensenada, a tender port door opened and one hydraulic arm broke rendering it unclosable. We had to return to Honolulu and fly home. I image their insurance had to pay the fine for all of us.

Yes, IMHO, peering onto other person's balconies is what is so wrong.
Our next cruise could be a December cruise...
I think I will start shopping for some lights!!!!
Good idea.

There were some pallets of flooring I saw on one of the top decks. I was also told that our ship left SF a little late on Nov 23rd because of carpets rolls being loaded. So there were some materials aboard that they could start working with on the trip to Portland.
T-shirts in MDR???

I live in California and I have often said that in going to a formal affair in California I could put on anything in my closet and someone else will show up dressed just like me. Only in California does that rule apply.
