I got in touch with my TA and they got in touch with Thomson's about me not being able to book my extra luggage back home. Thomson's looked into it and found there was a problem with the site! All booked now so I can relax and look forward to our cruise. :)

Dooglas55, we are on the ship for 25 days and I always bring more back than I take, so wanted the extra for sharing extra weight going and for the extra's I know I'll be bringing back! :eek:

I was thinking of booking the extra weight so to take 3 suitcases, but on the select your seats page it only gives the option to book it going out to Jamaica not coming back from Palma.

Hope someone can help?

We are on the Dream TA in April and have booked premium seating on the way out. (You can't on the way back because it's only from Palma) I went on the Thomson site to book extra luggage weight, this is where it gets confusing. It gives my the option to pay for extra weight on the flight out but not on the flight back!!!! Are we supposed to leave the extra weight in Palma for the flight home? :eek:

I got in touch with my TA and she got in touch with Thomsons, who replied with the following.

"

I have spoken with Thomson’s regarding the added extras planned to be added to the Premium Seat Service.

They have confirmed to me that this will be taking place from Summer 2015.

The Thomson’s Summer programme doesn’t begin until May 2015, this cruise is still classed as part of the Winter programme so unfortunately will not be able to benefit from the added extras."

I'll hang on to my lounge passes, hope everyone else does get them though.

Thanks Anniebear, I thought I would check it out before I cancel because knowing my luck I would cancel then find out it didn't start until we get home. ;)

According to Thomson Summer season is 1st May to 31st October, so maybe we are still classed as a winter season and we won't get passes.

Anyone know what lounge Thomson will be using at Birmingham airport?

OK I've just read on the FB page that on the Thomson Dream they allowed people into the MDR in football shirts and shorts, please tell me this isn't so?

Also on the next night they let people in the MDR in tracksuits. :mad:

Is Thomson's turning into McDonald's or are the government paying too much out in benefits?
