My family of 4 (taking two older in-laws with us) is taking an Alaska cruise out of Vancouver. We're looking for a nice but reasonable hotel where we can sight-see (no rental car) and get to the port. Only have one day in Vancouver.

Any suggestions? Never been to Vancouver before. Thank you.

Even though Royal Caribbean left So. Cal several years ago, I am still loyal to Royal. I wish they would come back.

My husband and I are booked on the inaugural cruise for the Quantum of the Seas on Nov. 23, 2014. We will be coming in from the Los Angeles area and have never been to NYC/NJ. We would like to take a redeye from LA on Nov. 20 and do some sightseeing and Broadway show in NYC prior to our cruise out of Cape Liberty.

Feeling lost and overwhelmed on planning this trip. Haven't booked flights yet; do not know whether to fly into JFK or NJ? Transportation from NYC to port? Any advise would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Any suggestions on whether to fly in NYC (JFK) or straight to NJ airport. We would like to go to NYC to do some sight seeing and see Broadway show before cruise.

Need hotel suggestions, transportation to port, etc. Haven't been to this area.
