Follow-up. Jet Blue Agent was able to find Confirmation# (I only had had Record Locator) and booked a seat for me!  There was a charge of $25.  Thank you again.

Recently purchased Flights through Celebrity, payment to be made with final cruise payment.  I received both Record Locators.  Able to select seat on Delta with no problem.  Getting no where with Jet Blue.  Tried calling, texting.  Any advice appreciated.

Originally planned on arriving day before cruise but cruise mate may cancel.  Now looking at options as a Solo.  Will be flying Delta, either way.

True Carnival won't talk to you. The problem falls on the 2 different TA's.

 

First choice is to have them fix it whichever one messed up.

 

Second choice is you can fix it once on board. They are very good at accommodating passengers.

We are family of 3 traveling on Carnival Pride in a few weeks, 2 in Balcony, 1 in Oceanview. Reservations were made at 2 different travel agencies but linked. Booking confirmations show room #1 Early Dining, room #2 Late Dining - both suppose to be Early Dining. Carnival won't talk to us because bookings were made w/TAs. TAs won't help because bookings made with two different agencies. Thank you

What time does RCL say you can make a flight if you use their transfer?

 

I would consider ditching the RCL transfer and self disembarking to take a shared shuttle for $20 from the Cape Liberty taxi dispatcher to EWR.

 

I am on the cruise before you with the "cruise ladies".

Never saw the drink card for sale. We did not purchase an alcoholic beverage package, just water and the coffee card. We purchased both of those before the cruise, so they would be in our cabin. I looked for the drink card every day on the compass, but never saw it. We brought two bottles of wine on board and bought a few cocktails, glasses of wine and beer. Very port intensive cruise so we decided against the beverage package, which was the right decision on this particular sailing for us.

I reserved Chops Grille, listed on Cruise Planner, for upcoming Oct cruise, entered CC info and received email noting restaurant and time. I assume CC was charged immediately. Will I receive Chops' vouchers in Stateroom or do I bring email with me to Chops?

Had the same experience last week. Called Crown & Anchor @ 800-526-9723; new tags (showing correct level) were available to print within 24 hrs.

Arriving 8:10am morning of cruise. What transportation, Airport to Cruiseport, is recommended for party of four? Earliest estimate of luggage check-in (Vision of the Seas)? First time in this part of World and would like to see as much as possible.

Looking at PV category on Vision and not finding too much info. Hoping someone can help? Do rooms 8547 and 8545 have floor to ceiling windows, so many on Deck 7 do not? Is there excessive noise from Atrium?

P2P paperwork suggests allowance of $100 per day. For a family, this means travelling with a large amount of cash. Are there any ATMs in Cuba that will accept US cards? Does the Crystal have a ATM on board?

I'm getting a bit concerned about having no documents yet for our 2/5 sailing from Montego Bay. Even tho we're on the 2/5 sailing, our last day home is 2/2 because we are leaving early to go to MB. I'm also wondering what documents I need? I'm thinking that I need 3 documents that I don't have yet:

 

1. Some type of boarding passes to board the ship.

2. A P2P form.

3. The 'newly' required medical insurance that I only learned about in Dec & purchased it.

 

I first completed 2 and 3 above in early Dec as requested via the travel agency website (Legendary Journeys travel agency), but my credit card was not not processed and I had to do it again on 12/17. At this point, I'm wondering why it takes so long to receive these materials. Has that been your experience?

 

Plus we have our other travel insurance policy that I purchased back in Nov when we first booked the cruise. Anything else that we need, as Americans?

You should have received your P2P letter by now. Email John McAuliff, Director of P2P, @ jmcauliff@ffrd.org. We booked cruise and purchased insurance directly with Cruise Company and received eDocs and Ins Policy minutes after final payment. Suggest contacting Legendary Journeys too.

Kiwi935 ~ when we did it 2 years ago transportation was included & also rum, mix & some snacks. At that time it made sense to book with the cruiseline as we were leaving that very night. I was glad we saw it once but wouldn't go a 2nd time.
