  1. The family and I will be traveling on the Carnival Breeze in July 2015 for my twin girls graduation present. I have been on the Carnival Dream twice and Royal Caribbean The Allure Of The Seas. I am trying to find out information on the Breeze. Any and all input is welcome, thank you.

  2. Just a technical point: to keep it cold you have to keep the balcony doors closed. The above suggested idea of putting the aircon to freezing cold and keeping the door open for the sea breeze in the hot Carribean summer can collapse the system (a nightmare if everyone does it this way on such a large ship) and is a total waste of energy.

Balcony door stayed closed and locked:rolleyes:

  3. Nice to meet you Holydad and seeing you a few times around on the ship!

Our room D8 balcony cabin was the opposite of yours--FREEZING! The bed was next to the vent/closet that allowed the air to blow directly on us.

Sorry your daughters had a bad experience- there is no excuse for that. No doubt there are rude people out there...

I was standing in line at the park cafe and a guy got in line after me with 3 kids. The RC worker came over and said can I help you and he started shouting out HIS order. I looked at him and said uh I was next, am I invisible??? He wouldn't even look at me or say anything to me. I called him a few choice words and still he said nothing! I was MAD.

Believe it or not there were several complaints about people being prejudice on the ship. But it goes on all over. You would think we as a people would have gotten past that but needless to say it is still out there. But ignorance just can't be explained. But besides that I am planning on going on the allure again so I can do the things I didn't get to do this trip. LOL:D

  4. We will be on the Sep 1 sailing. What type of room were you in? We love our room very cold and will be in a GS. I'm thinking we'll just keep our sliding glass door open to get the sea breeze. Thank God we never take the elevators. We have a family rule while cruising. We only take the steps! We will definitely get our workout on this cruise. Glad you had a great trip!

We were also in a Grand Suite. Our room attendant was great. He did try to get the situation taken care of but of course we had to go to the guess services. Still was hot. I guess it is all what you make of it. I like it real cold as does my wife. To us it just did not get cold unless it was during the day. Could have been us but it was rather hot during the early mornings like after 12.

  5. People do ... for lack of better wording... _suck_ sometimes. But attitude is everything, and I refuse to allow their attitudes to be contagious and ruin my trip because a fellow passenger was rude or discourteous. That's their loss. I hope they didn't leave a lasting memory marring your trip.

I refused to let anyone or thing ruin a great trip. It was a blast. :D

  6. What can I say about this beautiful ship? Well lets just say this will be a brief but accurate summary of the ship and trip.

Lets start with the bad. While this ship is very very large it can accommodate everyone on board. With that being said, there where times when the elevator was crowded. Those times were after shows or other events and when coming back on board after a port stop and getting off. It seems as if people of all races have forgotten these very simple words to help any situation. Those words are, excuse me if this makes anyone mad or causes a fight. "EXCUSE ME"! those WORDS WERE NOT USED AT ALL! Now I am not one who likes confrontation but you are not going to disrespect my family or myself. People would bump, step, push or anything for no good reason. Enough about that! There were some instances of racism on board. Once incident involved my daughters. GOOD THING I WAS NOT WITH THEM AT THE TIME OR I MIGHT HAVE BEEN THROWN OF THE SHIP. THE IGNORANT ONES DID NOT OUT WEIGH THE BEAUTIFUL ONES. Another problem was the air conditioning. My room turned into a sauna at around 1am. Good thing I am married or whoever my roommate would have been would have been in for a very very exciting surprise! LOL! Now to the good. Everything else. The ship is as advertised. It is very beautiful and very, very, HUGE. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, the rooms spacious and my money gone. LOL! The workers made sure you had an awesome experience. Meeting new friends from around the country and outside the country was a great plus. Hey JoAnn, John, Mark, Sedonie, and all the others. While this was a very short and to the point review I would be glad to answer any questions. Just be mindful all questions answered comes with a price. We have to go on a cruise together with the families and have a good time. Also the drinking package is well worth it.:p To sum everything up: would I go on the Allure again, definitely. Did the bad experiences mess my trip up NO. Did I party with a purpose YES YES YES. So about not having no pictures, forgot the camera. OK OK OK OPEN FOR ALL QUESTIONS! LOL!:)

  7. Hi LT! You are gonna have a great time! I was just in Philly this year for the convention. You guys were great hosts! :D

I am glad that we were able to be pleasant host for the convention, even though the mayor still have not honored our contract. But anyway, my wife is telling everyone that I am overly hyped up for this cruise, I AM. I wish I were on the Allure right now. patience is a virtue, but the patience has left the building.:)
