Oh no! I really hate to hear that! That changes my plans for my upcoming cruise. The last time that I was at Jack’s the service was poor and it took forever to get the food.

Has anyone visited the Local Village Bar since the hurricane? I hope it’s still open! I visited the Local Bar several years ago and it was awesome, Good food and great drinks! The atmosphere was nice and there were plenty of chairs! Please tell me it’s still open. We will visit in May!:hearteyes:

I didn't care for Jack's Shack either. The Staff was cold and the drinks were so so. After we discovered the $5.00 chairs....we walked back to The Local Village. The chairs are free, drinks were great and the conch fritters were VERY good!! The whole vibe was fun! Prices are very reasonable!

I absolutely loved The Local Village Bar!!! It is right before you get to Jack's Shack. I was there the on the Liberty (7/7/12-7/14/12). The chairs are free! The drinks are awesome the the people are very friendly. I forgot to mention the food! We had conch fritters and burgers! The fritters were fantastic! This was my second trip to Grand Turk. The 1st time we went to Margaritaville. It was fun, the pool is awesome, but OVERPRICED. Tried Jack's Shack right before we went to the Local Village. They were rude and the wait for food was too long.

I can't wait to go back to the Local Village! It is right between Margaritaville and The Shack.
