I was looking to purchase tickets for the HOHO in Kotor.  The website indicates not available on that date I'll be in port.  I'm wondering if that means they sold out on that date or if I could possibly purchase tickets right at the port.  Anyone have experience with this?  Thanks!

I'm assuming taxi's are available upon disembarkation in Venice, correct?  Is that the quickest and most cost efficient way to get to the Marco Polo Airport?

I'm also wondering how long it take to get to the airport.  Our ship is supposed to dock at 8:00AM (Norwegian Star) and I was looking at a 11:10AM flight departure.

Is this doable?

Thanks for the recommendation for Cortrans.  I've used Cocoa Beach Shuttle in the past.  They were okay, but was

checking out other options.  I saw Laura's was $14 per person and we have 4 in our party.  I'll check out Cortrans.  

They seem to get really good reviews.

Has anyone used Laura's shuttle?  I submitted their online form 5 days ago with no response.

We leave later this week for our cruise on 10/8 and starting to wonder if we should get off the ship at this port. Anybody else have concerns?

I'm looking for suggestions for this stop and planning on DIY. Also would early October be too cold for the beach?

I usually book my cruises closer in or after final payment, but I'm looking at booking the Med in October. I see NCL has the $50 deposit deal on right now, so if I do book and change my mind before final payment, I do get my deposit ($100) back, correct?

After disembarking the cruise, can anyone tell me where I would need to go to get the Alamo shuttle back to FLL?

I have both Hertz and Alamo booked right now for pick up at FLL for about the same price. So if I go Alamo, I go back to FLL or if I go with Hertz, I would need to rebook to show a pick up at the Port Everglades office. Is one option more convenient than the other in anybody's opinion? This is the first time we will rent a car post cruise. I know at the port of Miami, shuttles from the various rental companies circle the port and pick people up. Does something similar occur at Port Everglades and are there certain rental companies that have shuttle service to FLL if you have a post cruise car rented?

Price is my first priority and then shopping/restaurants. Sounds like I'll stay put at the Crowne Plaza.

As far as pricing, I was able to find these rates through a corporate booking tool from my employer and I was glad to see them as many of the hotels I was finding were in the close to $300 a night range.

I've only cruised out of FLL one other time and stayed pre-cruise at the Crowne Plaza. Nice hotel, but not the greatest location. I had booked it again for my cruise in a couple of weeks and got a pretty good rate of $149. I'm now finding the HI Express Dania about $20 cheaper and wondering if the location is better. I'm specifically wondering if there is any shopping/restaurants within walking distance. Thanks!

If just two are cruising, can you dine at your own table if you choose my time dining? I know you can on NCL or Carnival, so just checking to see if this works the the same on RCL.

Just packing for our Getaway cruise this Saturday and I thought I saw that golf type shorts are ok in the main dining room. My 23 year old son doesn't like dressing up, but has several pair of nice shorts. Is this acceptable?

Still trying to decide what to do in Tortola. Trying to decide between Cane Garden or the Baths. The more I read about the Baths, I'm thinking that should be our choice. I don't really want to spend the $72 price tag for the NCL tour. I was thinking if we take the 7:45 ferry and instead of the 12:40 and in order to give us a back up, I think I saw an 11:30 back to Tortola. Is this sufficient time for the Baths visit or would I need to depend on the 12:40 for more time?

I know the main pool is adults only. Is the second pools for kids only or can adults swim in both? Just curious as I hear the pools are small and crowded and wonder if the adult pool is crowded, if it is okay to use the second pool.
