  1. Hands down I would pick Breeze. We have been on both and Breeze is our favorite ship. We are not super picky and always make the best of our vacations but Sunshine had a smell to it that just didn't go away. And the service on the Breeze was much better. However being on a cruise ship is better than going to work so Im sure which ever one you choose you will have a great time!

  2. We did the Xanatunich ruins a couple years ago. It was a great tour but a very long day. The bus ride to and from were over an hour and a half but worth it when you got there. The ruins were amazing. However...if you are planning on doing this book through Carnival. We were 45 minutes late getting back to the pier. We booked the excursion through Carnival so the ship waited for us! Thank goodness! People were panicking on the return trip thinking we were going to be left behind.

  3. Ha! Love it! So many people complain about the food or the service when I would take any of it over a day at the Office! A cruise is what you make it, if you go there expecting 5 star meals and someone to wipe your butt for you you are going to be disappointed. The first cruise we went on two of us got the Norovirus and still had an awesome time! (well after the illness passed..lol) We booked our next cruise with in a few months. I applaud your sarcasm! It wasn't lost on me and found it very funny. Good for you!

  4. Hi there! We will be in St Kitts in February for one day (Carnival cruise). We are looking to do our own thing and take a cab to South Friars beach and then possibly a little sightseeing. Can anyone recommend a cab company that is safe and dependable? Im sure there will be a lot of them at the cruise port..

    Thanks!

  5. All the posts are great news so far! We are looking to book on the Sunshine Feb 2016. I too was nervous reading some of the reviews but past experience has proven "Your vacation is what you make it!" We were on the Breeze in 2014, I had read a lot of negative reviews and started to get nervous. It was hands down the best ship we have been on yet. (The Breeze was our 3rd).

We book looking to have a great time with family and friends…not 5 star dining..not Ritz Carleton service…we have been happy with all of our cruises!

  6. Hi there! We will be sailing on Carnival Breeze in 11 days, one of our ports of call is the Dominican Republic. I have had a co worker ask me to bring him back some good cigar's from DR. I am not a smoker and know nothing about cigars. Anyone ever purchase any from DR? If so any suggestions?

  7. Hey all. Im sure this question has been asked before but Ill ask anyway. Is there really any benefit to booking your next cruise while on a cruise? We will be on the Breeze the 15th and have seen where they try and get you to book your next cruise. Is there more value to booking then instead anytime else?

    Thanks for your input.
