AS of 1am I have been on this thread since midnight reading all 18 pages worth of tips
thanks folks ;-)
One more tip - SLEEP!!!:D
I'm kidding, but not. Get plenty of rest before your cruise and make sure you have time after your cruise to relax. During your cruise STAY AWAKE! You don't want to miss a minute.

I was going to go with the obvious; Ice Road Truckers - The Dalton, and as has been mentioned Deadliest Catch especially the episode with the rescue of the Katmai crew. They brought the crew to Adak Island. I lived in Adak for 3 years.
And it looks like nobody mentioned The Edge. I always root for the bear and the best line in the movie is "what one man can do; another can do."

Passport Stamps?
in Ask a Cruise Question
Posted
My DW and I have had our passports since 2002 and have not traveled outside the U.S. so when we were up in British Columbia and the Yukon Territory on the Spirit in August we looked to get stamps in them. The train let us out in Fraser, BC and the stamp was at the building, but it was a stamp-it-yourself table. The stamp was pretty light, but hey, we finally have a stamp.
Up in Carcross, YT, there was 2 stamps outside the general store. One was a bear and the other was a caribou. We figured since we won't be getting too many more stamps, we'd do both.
I looked at the table one more time before I left and burst out laughing. There sitting on the table was a TIP JAR!!!!!
