Like your review, we were on the same sailing. I will say Cagneys was wonderful! We went to Teppanyaki wasn't real impressed with it. I really like the set dining times and having the same wait staff for every meal. We enjoyed our cruise very much.

Does anyone know if there are washer and dryers on the Jade?

We are booked in this room for our March 2018 cruise. Is the room smaller with the bed closer to balcony? Does it still have a couch? How big is the balcony?

There was just one night (out of 14) where we heard any noise. I went up to the Great Outdoors to see what it was and there was nothing there. We concluded it was someone playing music in a nearby room, but never heard it again.

 

I do have some pictures and will try to post them when I get chance. I have a couple of the balcony on my Instagram page though.

 

 

One thing to note is that the room that we book (11150) has the bed near the balcony. To my knowledge, this is the only room (balcony or mini suite) on the whole ship with it that way round.

We just did a Panama Canal Cruise last month on the Jade. There was a bartender at the Bliss lounge(that's her peeking behind the drink in the background) in the evenings who makes this drink. She calls it heaven and hell. It was delicious!

Just wondering if dress slacks and nice top is ok for ladies at dinner, what do the guys wear? Does DH need a suit for formal nights? Could he wear dress pants, shirt and tie? We are going the beginning of august.

So sorry about you losing your precious Tino, we know how you feel we had to put our Yorkie down 1/3/13 he was 10 years old and it was one of the hardest things we ever had to do. Not a day goes by that we don't thnk about him.

All this wrap-aft balcony is making me go crazy! We are book on Glory with 3 aft cabins and there is a aft wrap cabin available....but there will be a cabin between us and our friends :(

I want this aft -wrapped balcaony so bad but don't want to be separated from my friends. If only I could find out who is in that balcony room and see if they would move over 1 cabin.

I know i'm crazy!

Our first cruise was on the Festival in march of 88, we went with 4 other couples and had a ball! Our husbands did the male night gown contest and it was a real laugh! We have gone on 17 cruises since then. Just love to cruise I think it is the best vacation ever.
