I have seen the Pirate Museum several times. Nice self-guided tour with lots to read and look at. There is a nice gift shop and restaurant once you finish. Once you are off the pier, look at 2 o'clock and walk. It is maybe a mile, little less than to the museum, with tons to look at between the pier and museum.

From my experience, the temp can be a little on the cooler side. Those from northern states may find it wonderful. I am from a southern state so I would bring a light, long sleeve shirt with me.

We only had to pay the alcohol tax coming back into Texas when we purchased liquor on the trip, ie Mexico. When the cruise line staff held onto it from our other ports of call. That is how you get it back. They do not leave it to you the night prior or morning of like on other trips.

We just got back from our first cruise with Autism of the Seas last week. I can not say enough about the group. It was a wonderful experience and I am all ready thinking about booking my next cruise!
If you have any questions I can try to answer them for you.
Ma'am, How did you prepare your child for the cruise?

Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory is a must. Cheap and they offer discounts if you bring your military ID card. Go early to avoid the crowds. The butterflies are calmer and may land on you when there are less people around. They are located less than a block away from the Southern Most Beach Café which offers a nice lunch or afternoon drink on the beach.

We did Eric's about 2 years ago and had a great time! Booked directly through their website.
Can I get the link to the website? Thank you.
