  1. We are in Warnemunde from 7:30am-10pm on a Sunday. We are trying to decide what we should do. Is it worth taking the train into Berlin, or is it better to see a town closer to the port? We have never been to Germany before so any insight would be very helpful. I see a lot of posts about Rostock so I do know that is an option, however I also wonder if we are just better to go all the way into Berlin. I have heard however that it is a 3 hour train ride into Berlin.

  2. We are travelling on the Norwegian Getaway October 7, 2017. We are a family of 8 and last year on our Mediterranean cruise we used all private companies for our tours and our experiences we amazing and much cheaper than going through the ship. We are going to the following ports

Copenhagen, Denmark, Berlin (Warnemunde), Germany Tallinn, Estonia St. Petersburg, Russia Helsinki, Finland Stockholm (Nynashamn), Sweden and ending back in Copenhagen, Denmark

Does anyone have suggestions on tour companies?

    Thanks

    Lisa

  3. We are sailing on allure December 13th. There is a horseback riding excursion where the horses go through the ocean that we would like to do. There is a weight restriction online of 220. I've never seen a weight restriction that low for anything. All of us are under that except my uncle. Anybody know if they actually weigh? Would hate to get there and have him turned away. Any help on this would be appreciated.

  4. There is a horseback riding excursion that looks pretty cool where the horses ride through the ocean. The weight restriction says 220. Anyone know if they actually weigh people. I've never seen a weight restriction for one of these excursions and my uncle is over that. We don't want to get there and be told he can't go. Any one done this excursion before?

  5. We went on a Celebrity cruise last year and we got to pick 2 out of 3 (drinks, gratuities or on board credit) They give you the lowest drink package and we just paid the difference to upgrade to the best one. It was awesome and so worth it but $619 CDN on this ship just seems outrageous. I guess we had it to good last year getting it with our booking that it makes paying this year so hard to justify. I think I will probably end up going with the premium and then if need be on the ship upgrade to the ultimate. I do like specialty coffees and if I were to have 2 in one day that would cover the difference in cost of the package. Such a hard decision, but I definitely want to purchase before I go because with the dollar being so bad right now it will always end up cheaper for us to pay CDN then have to pay the exchange on the ship.

  6. We are sailing on the Allure on Dec. 13th. I am having such a hard time deciding on the drink package to get. While the Ultimate is outrageously priced I like the idea of being able to order anything and not be charged. I like to get a specialty coffee in the morning, and being able to get bottled water is essential. My travel agent suggested the select package due to price and while I do drink mainly beer and wine, sometimes I do venture with other things. Anyone have a breakdown of how much you would have to drink to make it worth while for each package? I'm sure someone must have posted it on here but I can't seem to find it.
