I was on the Gem 11/22/19 cruise and it was the worst experience on her I had sailed on the Gem 3 times already and it will be the last one.   It was a madhouse on disembark day no organization at all one lady fainted even the elderly were yelling and cursing at the staff and sneaking off the ship the wrong way that’s how bad it was.  Our bus arrived at 10 am we did not get to our bus til 2:30 pm thank god he waited.  The cruise staff sucked on this cruise and the food not good at all.  I’m very disappointed with the Gem.  And we only got 15 pp for missing ST Thomas. Not sure if that should be enough I never had that happen to us.  But even crew members were upset to miss st Thomas that is port they get off to buy their supplies so I was told by a crew member.

As a last resort ....should she not be ready for Friday or Saturday to return to NYC . My hopes are if you can fly all the passengers to NYC from Barbados...... you can fly passengers from NYC to Barbados on the Monday or Tuesday .... ;p

That would be a great plan I like it LOL!!!! I just don't want to be able to go no where for my vacation!!!

We are in that sailing as well and we have our fingers crossed that we sail!!!

I feel your pain! We are on right after you nov 11 and still nothing!! I am beyond frustrated!!! All I do is check my email 1000 times a day!!

Smong I thought I was the only one checking my email so much you made me laugh so hard thanks I needed that. I'm on the Gem 11/21/17 and just very curious to know where are we going as well!!!

If you do not mind me asking did you receive an email on the new itinerary only because I'm on the Gem on 11/21/17 and I have not received any news on my itinerary if it has changed? I have been checking on NCL.COM but still showing original itinerary eastern Caribbean.

8 days left for our Bermuda cruise on the Breakaway out of NY.

No not because of the itinerary has change because the itinerary has never changed on my cruises.

I just ended up with a refund while im on my cruise and they give it back as a OBC I was told because of the port charges and taxes were charged less for that cruise so I received a refund.

Thank you for your answer and to answer you question I have heard that if the charges were higher that thay can charge you while you are on your cruise but I am not a hundred percent sure if that is correct.

I was just wanting to know for anyone that recently just cruised the Breakaway did anyone get a refund from their port charges and taxes?

In the past cruises if the port charges and taxes were less then what they charged I would get a refund.

I always take a steamer on every cruise and never had it taken from us but there's always a first time for everything!!!!!!
