  1. I would like to book a Concierge category cabin on an 11 day Southern Caribbean cruise and my travel agent can get this cabin, last one available in a group booking, at almost $1000pp cheaper than other concierge cabins on other decks mid ship. I'm just wondering since it's on deck 12 below the OV cafe if it would be noisy enough to outweigh the cost savings. It's kind of at the top of what I want to spend so if I don't book this one I would look at regular balcony rooms in better locations. Which would you choose?

  2. Big Kahuna, maybe I'll have to go back another year and do the 10 day but we'd really like to go over our anniversary so guess we'll stick to the 7 day. I've now been thinking of spending three nights before the cruise at the Hilton Moorea in an OWB and maybe do the beach day excursion to the IC Thalasso one of the days in Bora Bora. I think that would be a lot cheaper that flying to BB for three days before the cruise. Twin I checked and we can't get that credit card in Canada. Emdee where did you do the vow renewal, at the resort or on the ship? Even though it's almost two years away I'm ready to start booking things, at least the cruise. I guess it's too far away to book anything else. Emdee I see you're from Canada. Do you suggest just booking through PG or can you recommend any travel agents that are familiar with that area that I could ask lots of questions to? I asked at our local CAA and Expedia Cruise Ship Centre and they don't keep any info on PG or haven't booked anybody because they said it's too expensive! My email is seladham@shaw.ca if you know of anybody that you'd recommend or could maybe give OBC.

  3. Has anybody on here done this excursion and if so did you think it was worth it. You spend the night in an OWB there and it includes dinner, champagne and breakfast delivered to your villa. We haven't booked our cruise yet but are looking at going April 2019. I was hoping to do the 10 day itinerary but the 7 day falls over our 25th anniversary and on the exact date, April 9th we'll be overnighting in Bora Bora. I saw this excursion and thought it would make the date very special but realize it's a little crazy to spend that much money when we'll already have paid for meals and cabin that night on the ship. It would be cheaper though than flying to Bora Bora for a few nights in an OWB before the cruise! Decisions!

  4. LOVING your very entertaining review and photos Gambee. Unfortunately we had the same kind of weather when we were in Labadee in January on the Allure. When we were there I was on a mission to find me a bottle of that very smooth Pango after you describing it in your Allure review and I didn't find it anywhere. I'm surprised you got back on the ship this time without a bottle. Did you look for it this time?

  5. Thank you for the fantastic detailed review and all the photos. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it and I'm a little sad that it's all over. I look forward to Sept 2013 when I can read another of your reviews and see how much your lovely children have grown. By the way, Savannah is an awesome dancer. We will be on the Allure next Dec with our teenagers and I can't wait, only a little more than a year to wait.

  6. I am LOVING your review and all the pics. Looks like an awesome family vacation. We are booked on the Allure for Dec 2012 which we are so looking forward to . I was salivating looking at all your pics of the Samba Grille so I just called and made a reservation at a new Brazilian Steakhouse that just opened in our city. I don't know if they have a dancer but if the food is half as good as the Samba Grille looks, I'll be happy . Thanks for taking the time to post such a detailed review and I look forward to the next installment.
