We have stayed in number 10 and also number 7. we prefer 7 because it is close to everything. but you can't go wrong with ANY cabana. the night before HMC, they will give you an order sheet to fill out with what kind of soda/water you would like. also how much snorkel gear or floats you would like. they give you platters of fresh fruit, chips and dips etc. it feels like you are on a luxury vacation. the beach is the best i've ever been to. just relax and enjoy!!

just off sunshine today after 5 nite cruise to canada. the crew were amazing. always remembering your names. we had anytime dining, and after a giant snag on the first night, it improved immensely. lots of complaints about having to check in at anytime dining desk on deck 5, get a pager, wait in ocean plaza seating, and then report to deck 3 sunshine dining room. the food was sensational in MDR. lido food was good, but nothing really stood out for me. we did try jiji's for dinner and it was amazing. also tried cucina de capitano, and i would venture to say, that meal was the best meal on any of my 11 cruises.

 

casino was large and had a great choice of machines. i spent alot of time there, and of course it ate my money. no worries. had a blast.

 

we had beautiful weather in st. john and halifax. great for walking and shopping.

 

we are scheduled to sail her again in october, but we will probably cancel, due to the fact we have done this itinerary many times.

 

to those sailing her soon, just relax and enjoy. there's something for everyone.

the spa is one of the best things about the breakaway. we always get a pass and use it about 4 or 5 times a cruise. yes it gets a little crowded at times, but once you lay on the lounge chairs, you can fall asleep for hours!! total relaxation. just the best and worth every penny!!

thanks for the heads up!!! we will be leaving on splendor this sunday. received an email from carnival saying to try to board between 10am and 12pm. we take the west side highway down from palisades parkway!!

we were on splendor last month, staying on deck 2. i concur with the sewage smell comment. we smelled it alot. food we thought was pretty good and the service in dining room, (black pearl anytime dining) was fabulous. no complaints. the bingo gods were not good to us this trip and neither were the casino gods!!! lol. we had a very nice cruise, despite me doing a header off the cabana steps in half moon cay. next month we are going on a canada/new england cruise on splendor. it will be my third cruise on this particular ship and hopefully last on her. i always get lost because of the decks that you can't walk completely thru!!

i received my offer a few weeks ago and booked to cruises for this year at a fabulous rate. actually, the one we booked for october came out to be FREE!!! can't get much better than that. carnival truly takes care of their casino players.

we just booked two cruises from casino offer. one for aug 12 to bahamas and one in oct to canada. keep checking your private offers. something good always appears!!

Received this offer yesterday also. Couldn't take advantage of it because we are already booked on breakaway for November 30, thru Casinos At Sea. Hopefully, these will be repeat offers!!

i too recd and answered both parts of the survey. mine compared carnival with norwegian. survey MUCH TOO LONG!

didn't care for casino layout. very choppy and in different sections. machines are VERY tight but i still enjoyed myself and made a big donation!!! have fun.

we did magic kingdom excursion last december from breakaway. got to the park about 1:30 and were told that the first bus back leaves about 7pm. the park was crowded, but we were able to ride about 5 rides and enjoyed every second. it is very pricey but we feel it's worth it. don't waste yr time with sit down meals, takes a long time. just eat anywhere quick service. in this way you can enjoy more rides/experiences. just mho. in any case, enjoy it all!!

when we sail on breakaway it is always o'sheehans for lunch on the first day. then off to find our cabin.

I recd my promotion yesterday by snail mail as well. The only "problem" is that we are booked on our second free cruise on the NCL Breakaway for Nov. 30. Don't think I can swing both cruises that month.

i received a card for free cruise on getaway for aug. 9th. called cas and said that we don't like to fly and is there anything else they could offer us. she said i have another offer for free cruise on breakaway for nov and dec.!!!! of course we booked right away., had the same offer last year and sailed in dec of 2013. favorite ship so far!!! gotta love CAS!!

last august carnival broke the wheel on my fairly new luggage while we were boarding the glory in nyc. they offered me a free fabric bag in the gift shop in exchange, or when we got to canada, to purchase the same luggage at the same value. unfortunately, my luggage was $300 in canada!! upon return to home we submitted paperwork with receipt for my original luggage, and carnival sent us a check very quickly!!! we were totally satisfied.

loved the buffet. always something for everyone. dinner service took 2 hours EVERY night. very slow. food hit or miss. room steward teguh was just the best. saw to everything. didn't go to any shows cause i spent most of my time in casino and achieved free drink card by the 3rd night. did go to karaoke once and enjoyed it, also piano bar with dana. he is so very talented. ports were amazing and continued my tradition of getting a bad sunburn!! this itinerary never gets old for me. i could go to half moon cay every week!! any questions, feel free to ask! hope u enjoy your cruise as much as we did.

we are just off of same cruise. lots of fun. food for us was hit or miss, but mostly hit!!! crew was amazing and would not hesitate to sail spendor again. glad you enjoyed.

we were in cabin 5758 in december and loved the family o/v and the location. happy trails.

we stayed in family o/v in december, room 5758. found it to be really convenient to all decks. loved the size of the room and layout. fyi, also booked thru cas. enjoy.

my family and myself cruised on breakaway the beginning of december, and i will say that out of all my years of cruising, this was our best and most fun cruise!! go with an open mind and a grateful spirit, and you will have fun. enjoy.

we are sailing breakaway this sunday thru CAS. offered us a free cruise for 2, inside cabin. we upgraded to o/v, and added my daughter. total cost with taxes and fees $1351!! quite a deal, and we can't wait to sail her!! praying it doesn't snow.

i achieved "free drink status" on my last month's cruise on miracle by the 4 nite. they came to my machine and told me they were giving me the free drink card. i honestly don't know how much i exactly spent to achieve that, but i know i played back all my winnings!!! had a great time.
