I am 55 and husband is 60. Only experience with Celebrity was Millenium when it was new. Would like to hear from those that can compare Oasis/Allure to Reflection regarding entertainment, food, and ship in general. Have a deposit for Reflection 02/2015.

My husband and I are mid to early 60's, non alcohol drinkers, and typically cruise out of florida to Caribbean. Our first cruise was Celebrity Milly, various ships Of RCCL ranging from NOS to Allure/ Oasis and Princess's Carribean Princess. Usually book ships when they are fairly new. I have a deposit on Celebrity reflection but turned off by the reviews of the DJ music and music venues. Thinking of trying the new Princess ship out this year. I believe it is either Royal or regal. Cruse would be late February 2015 for 30th anniversary. Like good entertainment, good food, nice adult pool area, and pool bands!

Appreciate the review and excellent pictures. I have been on the Oasis with the same itinerary and looking forward to my April 2013 cruise on The Allure. On a freezing cold New England day, this is exactly what I needed to read. Go Patriots!

I would love to join as I have a cruise in April 2013 .... I am the heaviest I've ever been ....need to lose to feel presentable in a bathing suit ....I've started to log what I eat on South Beach although not really following the plan ....I also have starting doing 45 minutes on a treadmill about 5 days a week. I hope to lose at least 25 lbs by my cruise. I'm a size 12 and hope to get down to 10 at least.

Home on a snowy day in NH. Enjoying your review of the Reflection. husband and I are booked on this ship for 02/15;however, having cruised mostly on RCCL including Allure/Oasis and once on Millenium I am concerned that the Reflection will lack in entertainment. Can you tell me if the Reflection had pool side band, bingo, and good entertainment overall? Thanks!
