Ok ..sorry about mentioning the exact ship…yes it is the Ascent…only concerning as it’s a new ship with out many years to build up air conditioning etc germs. Was wondering if out break was new or a few months ago. As it’s 1 day to go….guess we will keep our fingers crossed. We have had every shot available for Covid, pneumonia, etc….so 🤞🏼🤞🏼 . Thanks for all thoughts!

I’m assuming that everyone due to sail this weekend received the legionella warning. I received it about 4:00 pm today. It stated that 3 recent passengers have contracted the illness. They didn’t say exactly when this happened which is concerning. Was it 1 or 2 or some other cruise? It is concerning because if this finding is last cruise or couple cruises…then all new cruisers embarking on Sunday will be more exposed than if it is a month ago. 😳 As a healthy 78yr old…no Covid after 6 post Covid cruises….I don’t know how I feel about this and don’t know how to decide husband and my exposure possibility.
Any ideas from any medical minds out there?

To further my question….if you have had to take a reservation at 9:30pm. can you go earlier at 8:30pm and wait on line then? Or do you have to honor that very late :30?
-
Is there early or late night seating on Beyond ? We signed for select but find that every seating is not available unless it’s 9 or 9:30 ….this is 3 months before our cruise and most times are gone already….So do we just walk up at our preferred time of 8:30 and cross our fingers?

Golly Dreamer, thank you so much for the exhaustive listing….you went above and ‘beyond’ 😉

Yes I know when on the cruise or just before I can find out using the app….but I want to be aware way before so that I can choose what time my group schedule dinner time to be able to attend shows.
-
What days do the big production shows fall on one of Beyond’s 9 night cruises?
-
Does anyone know what nights the production shows are done on a 9 night cruise on the Beyond. Would they be on same rotation as a 7 night cruise ? We really enjoyed the 3 production shows on our 7 night cruise. We would like to schedule our dinners on our upcoming Nov. 9 night cruise to be able to enjoys these again.

After looking into cruise insurance self paid, I was wondering which insurance is adequate? Should we continue to purchase outside Celebrity or go with Celebrity’s cruise insurance. We are getting older and costs of insurance on outside is getting prohibitive.

Going on Beyond Sunday 19th. What is open for food for us non-Retreat people besides OVC?

Traveling Oct 28 2022 to St Lucia aboard Equinox. Have been to the resort before in 2019….ant to visit this time and wondering if it is open for Daypass use after Covid?

Can you use your ship Bank Card’s OBC points for pre cruise purchases?

Thank goodness someone read my question…I asked if the Edge class ships had nightlight in bath? I added ‘like Equinox does’ . Yes I know Equinox is an S Class ship.
So thanks for your help!

New to Edge Class and wondering if there is an automatic nightlight in bath as on Equinox?
🤞🏼Hope so.

Would Chic night still be the 2nd night on the Nassau, Tortola ,St.Marteen itinerary ? And how cool, breezy is it to eat at Rooftop Guarden Grill while underway?

Have always done late seating Traditional Dinning on Celebrity and most Royal ships. Which Dinning style is better for Edge class ships. I know this is back to basics but need to decide before March cruise.

Have an Edge cruise at end of March (2022) ….when do they start to assign arrival times?

This went on for whole cruise and was outside Cafe Baccio on Deck 5 and was not due to bad wind or weather...and as I said it was bad when boat was stationary in port. Seemed to be common and people like to smoke with coffee and deserts I guess. Not pleasant for us up on Deck 8.

This is the first time I've heard of smoking on the Starboard side of the ship. The only exception is when they refuel. They move smoking from the port side to the starboard side while taking on fuel. Maybe they were taking on fuel when you were stationary??? 🍷

We were on Equinox in Oct of this year and were on the hump starboard side deck 8. When we were stationary there were sometimes we couldn’t use balcony due to smell of smoke from outside Cafe Baccio which we found out is a VERY popular place to smoke. This was our first time on Celebrity and believed that the Port side was the smoking side. We were VERY disappointed to be sure. Underway it was somewhat better. Smoke rises all the way up to the 8th floor even outside .

If we had known Celebrity would have a section on STARBOARD for smoking ( Equinox) as we understood all smoking was portside...we would have not booked the hump cabin over the smoking section. We are sailing on Reflection next year and hope they haven’t opened a Starboard section on 5 under the hump. It’s bad enough that the Sunset bar is virtually unusable for non smokers while ship is underway especially when cigar smokers are on port side. It is a lovely area and we would have loved to use it.

We were on Equinox in Oct. We had a hump cabin on the starboard side of deck 8. By the 3rd day we found that our balcony was mostly unusable because people would go out on deck 5 outside of the cafe bacio to smoke. This was on the starboard side. They would have their coffee and pastries and smoke after or during. As that area is VERY popular...there was almost always some people smoking there. In port the smoke would rise directly up to those balcony staterooms over that area outside Cafe Bacio. Ugh!

We are sailing on Reflection next November. We just completed a cruise on Equinox and could place our pull on luggage in our rooms upon boarding. That was wonderful! My question is ....does Reflection let you place your extra luggage in your room as soon as you board? It is so nice to be able to go about the ship until rooms officially open with out pulling and carrying those extra bags etc.

Are any of these new model bedside tables being installed in regular balcony staterooms in the near future? Are the beds and linens being refreshed in regular balcony staterooms also. We are sailing Oct 14 and are hoping some of the room refresh is in place.

Sailed on Ascent in April. We were on deck 8 port side. Great ship. We had no creaking problems.. Capt. was very funny and available all around ship. We loved it and will do it again next March.
