Not sure I would be furious as that only hurts me, not Princess. However, your point is well taken. Giving out mini bar for 7d same as for 15d, etc, isn't quite logical when you consider you get increased OBC for stock & military depending on length of cruise. Would make more sense if the mini bar set up followed along - if longer cruise, another restock would be appreciated.

The way it has worked for us is you must LOG OFF before signing in on another form factor. For example if signed in as my hubby on his phone, it is necessary to go to logoff.com to ensure we are logged of that device. Then we can sign onto our tablet or my phone etc.,

FYI we ordered our OM on 3/13/19 and received it on 3/30/19.
-
has anyone tried buying one of the fitbit alta wrists straps for the OM? Saw a post on FB saying it works with it but would like confirmation from another that has ordered and used it with the OM.

As far as the embarkation night specialty dinner reservation, we found once we boarded the ship we went direct to the club class dining for lunch and the host took care of our dinner reservation in the specialty restaurant, very simple.

Caribbean Princess, Sails 8/18, 7days, purchased guaranteed mid-forward balcony, upgraded 2 days prior from Princess to better balcony then UPSELL offered - YES we took it! Full Suite category S4 for $589 pp.
-
This is our 1st time in a suite (Caribbean Princess) we leave 8/18. Under special services on the booking it states deluxe balcony breakfast for two. Should we assume that is in addition to the specialty dining for breakfast? Also because we are in a suite are we getting choice between daily CC breakfast & specialty dining for breakfast?

All I have (we are on the same cruise) is what is posted on the website.

Curious, can you tell me if you booked well in advance or just a month or less out? Another question, did you book direct with Princess or turn over to a TA? Reason for asking - 14 cruises on Princes, Never an upgrade fairy happening, however we always turn our cruises which we direct book over once final payment is due to Costco for extra OBC. Wondering if the upgrade fairy basically visits non TA bookings +/or last minute bookings such as less than a month out?

We have "jumped the line" every time we have sailed back to FLL at Port Everglades. As we debark we just ask any Princess rep directing the lines "Global Entry please" and we are directed to head of a line. We have never had to wait more than 1-2 persons. This has worked very well for us at Port Everglades.

I think I know this already' date=' but I'm going to ask. Can the form and supporting documentation be sent by e-mail or must it be by fax?
I have it all in a digital file--easy to e-mail, harder to print out and then fax.[/quote']
FYI, we have always sent as an attachment to an email successfully. We send to revenuesupportdepartment@princesscruises.com

We were quite happy doing the free Barcelona tour. Check out on trip advisor, we used the #1 free tour where you pay at the end whatever you see fit as value. It was a lot of fun if you don't mind walking.

We were on the Grand in May for another Alaskan cruise, our favorite ship is the Royal but we really enjoyed our time on the Grand. We had no issues and are sailing again on the Grand in 2 weeks on the Hawaiian crossing and looking forward to it. No worries, enjoy!

Our experience is we generally book directly with Princess, get the cabin we want, etc., and take advantage of any deals they have going. Then, prior to final payment due date we pay 90% of the cruise, and then take advantage of our Big Box and use their TA and get a nice bump in OBC from them. Another reason is the Big Box no longer accepts AmEx and we can pay 90% of the cruise on AmEx and then the remainder we do the Visa with the Big Box. For example, we are taking a Trans Atlantic again in April, go the drink package included, OBC from Princess, credit also for our stock and DH military, and then we will turn over just before it is due to the BB. We usually end up with over $1000 OBC this way.

We have been on the Royal multiple times (sister ship to the Regal). I see no problem with you getting to book the Sanctuary as long as you go when initially boarding. Took Princess trasnport once out of FLL and never again, disliked waiting waiting for all to board, bus driver spending his entire time heavily suggesting he makes no $ if we all don't generously tip, etc.,
Cab is quick and easy and if you walk off you can be there in 15 mins.

Well we are both pickleball players, sorry we are sailing ont he Nov 27th

Hmmm if you are scheduled to arrive at 11:30 in FLL, and the ship leaves at 4:30, I really wouldn't be concerned despite others misgivings. The airport is a quick cab ride to the port. If you arrive at 11:30am even if you don't arrive until 12pm, you are under 15 minutes to the ship. We do generally arrive a day in advance but have taken flights arriving same day without an issue. Sure anything can happen but I think you are overthinking it. My estimate would be you will be at the port before 12:30p. If you didn't get to the port until 2:30p you are safely within boarding time. :)

Cannot remember which one, but have been on the Royal 3x and one of the anytime dining rooms is open on embarkation day.

Hmmmm after reading everyone's comments, my comment is directed to the person who has TRD and wants to jump into ATD. My comment - why in the world if this is going to happen perhaps 1 -2 x during your cruise wouldn't you just utilize the Horizon Court/Buffet or international cafe, or specialty restaurant? It's not likely that you will miss out on the dining room every night or you wouldn't be booking TRD. Seems like a simple solution to utilize the other options that Princess provides, shouldn't be a hardship. Ourselves, we enjoy ATD but use the buffet, international cafe, and specialty dining for a change of pace and don't see it as a hardship but rather an opportunity to have a different experience. Just MHO. :)

Thanks so much for the photo. What it shows is a table for 4 persons? Does that mean everyone has to have 4 at their seating?

If anyone out there has taken the Whittier to Denali Princess Lodge by rail after getting off the ship, we would appreciate clarification on the limitation of a carry on.
Per Princess Cruise they state you are not to bring a carry on any larger than 17x14x4.
In lieu of a backpack we would love to bring our small rolling bag which measures 17x12x9. Will this be an issue? Has anyone brought anything larger than what they tell you to restrict it to?
What problem might this cause?
Thanks for anyone who can share their experience we appreciate it.

Our medallions came 10 days after ordering from OR. The Medallion Access Pass in the app shows us as blue vs. elite. Called and their statement is it will be fixed at the port. Also was told unless my husband gets a separate email address he will not be able to utilize the ocean apps on his phone, I pointed out that we share one email and have no troubles with 2 separate passwords with one email signing onto the princess.com for our individual accounts. Apparently that was too much for the software guru's to figure out for OM that there are folks out there that don't utilize multiple emails. Not a big thing for them to fix but doubt they will. We have multiples situations where we have separate passwords yet use the same email. Not a difficult software fix if they were interested. My complaints is finding this out the day before we cruise. Would have been helpful if they had let folks know their position is you must have an individual email in addition to individual passwords. Interesting.
