  1. Thanks to all, not doing this before it's great to get this information, because if each stage of the trip doesn't go right the least that happens is your inconvenienced, missing a meal or sleeping at the airport, at the worst you miss the Boat.

One other question, I was looking for hotels but it seem the reservation calendar only goes out 12 months, anyone know if I call can they book farther out?

  2. Hello to all

Just booked a cruise on Carnival out of Miami for 11/24/18, this will be our first cruise that we need to fly into the port. First thing I noticed was I could not check out or book airline tickets this far out, so how far out do airlines start booking flights, I've been told not to book to early because the price will be very high, but I don't want to wait to long as we will be flying the day after Thanksgiving and there might be no available seats. We have never flown over a holiday and I do not want to chance missing the ship, would it be better to fly on Thanksgiving, 2 days before the cruise to be safe, I really don't care as much coming back, we can spend an extra day or so if we got bumped by the airlines.

    Thanks for any Information

  3. Hello to all

Wife said no more west cost cruises to Mexico for awhile, what to do, the Caribbean but east or west we have never been there. That's not totally true we've been to Cozumel several times for diving years ago. I just couldn't decide so I booked a back to back on the Glory 11-24 to 12-01 18 for. the Eastern 12-01 to 12-08 18 for the Western half.

Will be needing help form fellow cruisers on what each port has to offer from the restaurants that offer the local meals, to maybe a cigar and rum factory and maybe a good dive spot or two.

Only problem is that days until cruise counter is not clicking down fast enough.

    Thanks for any suggestions

  4. We are going on a 2 day in Cabo cruise the end of November on Princess, this one is staying in port overnight and is suppose to have the tenders running through the night, we will see, if weather is bad tenders can not run. Many of the 2 day in Cabo cruises do not stay in port overnight so they can open the shops and casino, you may want to call your cruise lines to check on this.

  5. Well just booked the cruise for the Nov.29 sailing, cabin B630, know we will enjoy the view. Maybe see some of you on board, or at my favorite bar in Cabo, the Happy Ending Cantina 2 shots and 2 beers $5.00, told the owner I'd put in a good word my next trip down, their really good people, and you don't have to take out a second mortgage on your home for a drink like at Cabo Wab-oh! I didn't think the bill would be that much.

    Thanks

  6. Hello to all

I am looking into a cruise on the Star Princess and noticed 4 ocean view cabins on deck 12 Aloha that face Aft, on each side of the Terrace Pool A746,747,748 & A749. If anyone has stayed in these rooms, is there a noise or traffic problem with these rooms, also it appears to have a deck that goes around the rooms, if so is there close access to the deck from the rooms?

    Thanks for any information

  7. Thanks so much for the quick replies, both time I've been there its been a real quick stop overs 5 to 6 hours, this trip would be 2 days in Cabo, they will stay anchored over night, thought it would be great to have a room with one of the best views in town. But if the ship rotates with conditions it may be better yet, like one of those revolving restaurants, no bad views.

    Thanks

    Robert

  8. Thanks to all on the information supplied, sorry I could not reply sooner, I go on a cruise for a week and get back to work it seemed nothing had been done.

I called Princess today and was told the ship will stay in port with tenders running through the night. Looks like a good cruise.

  9. Hello to all

The wife and I just returned 3/21/15, from a 7 day Mexico cruise on the Crown Princess, first time with Princess, we had a Great trip. The only problem was the stop in Cabo was way to short, we have are next cruise booked on the Crown for the 6 day repositioning cruise up to Vancouver BC next year but would like to fit a short cruise in between . We noticed a 5 day cruise that stays in Cabo over night and I have a question from ones that have taken this cruise. Mostly what time do you need to be back on ship for the night? or will the tenders run all night long.

    Thanks for any information
