Hubby and I will be there. Looking forward to it and hoping they play some college football on the boat.

Not sure how close 8553 is, but we were in it on the Jade a few weeks ago. There were a few nights with some late night music that seemed louder than it should have been (fortunately we don't need absolute quiet to sleep, but if we had a choice again we'd probably book elsewhere). I believe on the Jade the music was coming from the Medusa Lounge on deck 7 below our room.

We did the same ... I recall reading on other threads that the gratuity is only if you purchase additional services, but access to the spa itself does not come with the 18% gratuity. I think you're in the clear!

Thanks for the info ... we are on two 7-day back-to-back on the Jade in a few weeks ... seemed online we had to pay $179 (the $20 discounted price for online booking) per week ... so we chose to do it for one week only. I'll poke around further ... thanks again!
Not a silly question at all. A few people on the roll call for my last cruise were on B2B cruises making their cruises 21 days long (ours was 10 days). I paid $159 for my 10-day spa pass and they paid $199 for their 21-day pass. -
Kindred spirits here ... no pun intended ;)

Matt - Have a good flight and enjoy the first part of your holiday! 3 week countdown for us and we are getting excited. Have a great one!

I assume if you are on a back-to-back cruise, you pay the $179 (the pre-cruise price) per week? Or has anyone paid it once for the entirety of a back-to-back?
I know ... silly question - but I figured I'd ask.

Howdy - we are joining on May 14 for the back-to-back, so we'll see you on the last part of your trip. Look forward to hearing how your previous week went!

Partner and I just booked for this cruise. Look forward to meeting you at the gatherings. We however would loose at any drinking challenge. Lightweights. :)
I'm glad to win at something! Actually Joey is a lightweight too. Almost a week to go and I'm ready for it. Safe packing and travels from Utah!

Apparently we have outrun Hurricane Patricia, no mention of it onboard. I hope this does not affect the next week's cruise. This has been a wonderful cruise!
Good to hear!!! Just what kind of news I was looking for, since my parents are on that boat. They posted to Facebook from PV so I figured all was ok, but glad to know for sure! :)

Who's going?
We enjoy some of the drinking challenges they have on these ships ... 5 martinis in an hour? Sure.
Looking forward to this long trip down to South America.

Can't speak to this yet ... but we booked a private tour for our upcoming stop in St Maarten next week. Right now we are planning to do Mullet Bay and Maho Beach, Marigot, Friar's Bay/Happy Beach, Grand Case, Orient Beach, and then enjoy the drive back to Phillipsburg for a couple hours of walking and shopping (we'll walk back to the cruise ship).
Most places we figure we'll stop for a short time, except Mullet Bay and Orient - where we want to spend a little more time on the beach. I am hoping this will be a good way to spend the day!
