The statement that you submit as proof of ownership, must be fairly recent, no more than 60 days, I believe.

There are others here that can help you more that I can, but I just got the credit for the first time. The statement can't be older than 2 months old. I printed our statement from online, but the page that contained the proof of owning CCL stock was on a page which didn't have our names on it. So I included the first page of the statement, which did have our names. We tried to fax it from home, but Princess Cruises seems to have had problems with some of their faxes. We faxed it to our TA. who sent it in for us with no problem.

My secrets aren't exactly secrets but tips for having a great cruise.
1. Be a joiner. Our best cruise was when we participated in events-dancing, trivia, game shows. We are pretty shy people but had the time of our lives.
2. Take advantage of the ship in off times. We had late dinner so we would go to the pool early evening when most people were dressing for early seating. If you aren't interested in a port of call, stay on the ship-it is empty and all yours for the enjoyment.
3. Arrive early to shows to make sure you get a seat.
4. Pizza is awesome, have some every day.
5. Don't overpack. You can get two to three wears out of nice clothes in the evening. Self serve laundry on each floor for anything that gets dirty. 6. Bring two bathing suits so you never have to put on a cold wet suit.
7. Day of embarkation, tour the ship. Start from top to bottom. It is terrible to realize you didn't know about a great feature of the ship until the end of the cruise.
8. Go with the flow, relax, have fun. No vacation is perfect but any vacation is better then no vacation at all.
See ya on the Emerald in Dec
Great tips! You should post more! You've been on CC for over 5 years, and this is post # 11! Let us hear some more from you!
Thanks!

Some people dislike the coffee, others don't mind it. We drank it for two cruises, and then started buying the coffee card for those after that.

Thank you, jms2362, and others who have contributed information. Since we will have several days, we will buy the "My Multi 3" option, which will get us out of the city that far. We won't be there a full week, but for us, the weekly pass to the trains, buses, and ferries will be a excellent deal.

Thank you from both of us, cruiselover!

I have been doing research as well for our 5 days in Sydney prior to our Princess cruise. I found the link to train info by doing a search entitled "Sydney Public Transportation". It appeared that the trip takes 2 hours or so. More research is needed to learn the station that should be the destination. Still working on it.

We have found that "chip clips" normally used on potato chip bags work well keeping the shower curtain down. The wide ones are the best.

Martin Kaye was the performer in Crooners for our Caribbean Princess cruise Nov. 14-21. He was fabulous, but unfortunately, has gone to find his fortune elsewhere. (In the recording industry, probably) He is British, and just became engaged, which may have been the reason to get off the ship.
Elite do you still get the small bottle of body lotion now there pumps dispenses

On the Ocean Princess recently, the dispensers were installed. I liked the shower gel, but the conditioning shampoo was hard to lather, and seemed to leave my hair a little oily, even with 2 applications. We were given eucalyptus lotion in small bottles. I grew to dislike the smell, as DH was sunburned and was covering his sunburn with it.
