I'm trying to decide on 2 cruises. One goes to Half Moon the other Princess Cay. Which would you pick and why? I've been to Half Moon Cay but never Princess Cay.

If you do this with an interior, are you taking a chance that you'll get a room where the 2 beds can't be pushed together?

I see that the $50 deposit deal ends today. Typically what future promotions could be offered next?

Just off the Fantasy on Saturday. We had a great time, mostly went to relax and veg around for the week.

Make sure you stop by and see Elizabeth at the piano bar. She was fantastic!

I had several Cruisers on board. Very strong drink, especially if you get it at the small bar beside the deli. ;)

I remember on my previous cruises that they do specials in the spa getting closer to the end of the cruise. Also ones you can get through the art auctions.

Does anyone know what kind of specials/pricing they do?

I'm partial to the Pride. She feels like home to me. I haven't been on her since the upgrades, I'm sure those are great! I was only on the valor once about 7 years ago. I just didn't like the way it was set up. But they are both great ships. You can't go wrong with either one.

I cruise 1 week from today. What are the things that you do the last week before you cruise?

I'm usually all packed by now. I haven't even started for this one yet. :(

Go on carnival website and check your cruise details. At least that's how I found out.

If I do our online check in stating we are bringing birth certificates, would it be a problem if when we get to the port I have a passport to check in with?

I love your reviews! I've been reading reviews non-stop before our cruise in just under 3 weeks. I absolutely LOVE the Pride! Been on her many times in the past. And I love reading about your daughter. Mine is just about 6 months younger and it reminds me so much of how much she loves cruising.

Very bad idea to use a debit card for S&S card expenses (the temporary holds can take up to 2 weeks to clear, finalize or be removed) unless you keep a large balance in your checking account this is often an issue for many.

Do you know how much the temporary holds are? All I can find is $100 at the beginning, which I'm okay with. I realize if my S&S account goes above that they would most likely add more holds. I just don't see how much. If I spend $500 on my S&S card, I just don't want $1,000 worth of holds on there.

If I have a credit card (Bank debit/credit card) attached to my S&S account, when is it charged? Is it the final evening onboard?
