Had booked a guarantee balcony cabin for a b2b cruise on the Sky Princess departing the 6th of January. Last month we were  assigned cabin M118, put in a bid for a premium deluxe balcony cabin for $180,- pp which was accepted yesterday. Very happy with our new cabin! 

If I want to purchase wifi prior to the cruise how do I get the 30% elite discount? Or do I have to wait till I am onboard?

You can also get a test at Venice Marco Polo airport should you take the Azamara shuttle from there. Antigentest for €35,-, result in 15 minutes.

we had an amazing cruise on the Allure of the seas from the 25th of February until the 4th of March but had some issues with settlement of the onboard account since we came home. My credit card has been charged a $150,-more than my final statement stated and my sister has been charged 3 times since we got off the ship. The creditcard company will sort it out for sure but being on the phone all week to get this sorted out is not a nice way to end such a great vacation :confused: Anybody else had issues like this?

we are taking my sisters stepdaughter on a cruise and it was very difficult to get an answer from Royal Caribbean about what documents are needed to take her on the cruise with us. We now have a form issued by the Dutch ministry of Justice and security which we filled in. No where on that form it is mentioned that we need to have it notarized and I am not even sure that we can have that done in the Netherlands. We have copies of all passports and a birth certificate, so we hope we have everything in order.

The ship sails at 1700 and usually muster is an hour before departure if I am correct so you will be fine. You will miss the sail out of Amsterdam (unless they air the game on the pool deck) which is a very nice one especially when you go trough the locks in ijmuiden.

Since there was a sale I just bought the refreshment package for myself for our upcoming cruise on the Allure . We sail with 3 in a Boardwalk Balcony cabin and those cabins come with the extra perk of a soda package for 2. Will they apply the soda package now automaticly to the other 2 staying in the cabin?

Wine can easily be found in any supermarket and they will have a good variety. If you fly in to Schiphol you will find a big Albert Heijn (large dutch supermarket chain) between arrivals 2 and 3 where you can buy your wine.

We are sailing on the 25th of february on Allure of the seas and we had the option to upload a photo in online check in.

Booked this hotel before our cruise out of Port Everglades on Allure o/t Seas in february. I will be staying 4 nights by myself and then my sister and her stepdaughter will join us. Has anyone recently stayed at this hotel and can tell me if this hotel is in a good neighbourhood? Ever since we booked our cruise last year april hotel prices in Fort Lauderdale have been extremely high and this hotel had good reviews on tripadvisor and a good rate. I will have a rental car.

I would go for the transfer with a little bit more time as there can always be air traffic delays out of Spain or if you are traveling in October encounter a nice fall storm in London.

Thanks everyone for the advise. We will stick to our original plan to drop of family first and then return the car on Eller Dr. And we will go a little bit earlier to the port as we had first planned. Only 67 days to go!!!

we are sailing on the Allure of the Seas on the 25th of february. I now see that there are 7 cruise ships leaving that day from Port Everglades. We have a rental car and I had planned to drop off my family at the port and then return the rental with Alamo at their location just outside the port and then shuttle back. With so many ships in port I am wondering if it might not be better to return the car to the aiport and take a taxi from there all together to avoid that I will be stuck in heavy traffic into the port after returning the rental. What do you think we should do?

Thanks everybody for your comments so far!! I absolutely love an oceanview balcony but also the price is a factor and as the difference between the two types of cabin will pay for our airfare I think we will go for the boardwalk balcony this time.

We are looking at a cruise on Harmony of the Seas for next year September in Europe. I have sailed on the Oasis before in an ocean view balcony but since this cruise is so port intensive we are thinking about an boardwalk balcony cabin.

I am just a little bit worried about noise. advise anyone?

The crossing was just perfect ( to use the captains words) 8 out of 9 days we had beautifull weather with calm seas. It truly was an amazing cruise!!!
