Hi in the past if you booked a cruise BEFORE you sailed, once on board you could transfer the booking to onboard booking and receive the 5% on board discount. We are sailing in December, but have booked and paid a further cruise for October 2018 but Silversea tell me I cannot transfer the 2018 to an onboard booking.

The pool is on deck 10. How could it be over the pool?

I saw that deal also. It is very annoying when TA's offer such a discount because you cannot go back to Silversea to match as they are not offering at 40% off only the TA is. We are on one of the voyages that the TA was offering 40% off - but what can you do?

Also the cruise we are looking at in Dec 16 they have raised the price by $300 then offered the 10%, so in reality it is 5% and they have your money for over 1 year.

When you sailed with Silversea Baltic Stockholm to Southampton Sept. 2013 what ship was it? and did you actually enjoy it - it being the ship, the food, the entertainment.

It sounds like the position with NCL is Sydney based. When Steve was with Silversea, he was based in Sydney until a few years ago and then was posted to the UK/EU - perhaps he just wants to move back to Sydney with family to work - who wouldn't?

You can still book the cruise only fare - there is a choice

Speaking of Gentleman hosts. I believe Silversea should do away with them. Firstly because on our last cruise there were 2 gentleman hosts, one was servicing 2 guests only - a mother and daughter. The other one, was accommodating 1 single lady. A total of 3 guests. In their spare time (the gentleman hosts), they were always seen to be in the gym for lengthy periods (taking up paying customers' equipment), solo in La Terrazza for breakfast. If Silversea want to cost cut, this should be number 1 on the list.

What was the choice of Champagne on the Cloud, when we sailed with the Wind in January there was only "Drappier" on offer. Were there any other brands of champagne available thanks

Could you please let us know who the Matre D is and also the Cruise Director and will they be staying on the Cloud until October 3 - thanks
