First time on Carnival, first time sailing out of Jax. If we have a noon check in time, what time can we come onto port property to park and get situated? Is 11:30 reasonable or will we be turned away from even parking until noon?
-
I'll try this, thanks.

Anyone?
-
Thank you all. One bag seems easier.

First time on Carnival. I know we can bring on 12 cans of soda per person. Question is, can I put all 4 12 packs in one rolling carry-on? Or do I need to separate them per person?

This is our first time cruising Carnival, first time cruising out of Jacksonville and first time with a staggered check in. We just booked last week and are cruising next Thursday. The earliest check in time available was 1pm. How early does check in usually start? I know we have to stay within our window, but was curious. Also, if our boarding passes say 1 pm, what time can we actually come into the port to park etc. We don't plan to come in too early, but I was thinking maybe 12:30. I just don't want to be turned away by Port security.

Thanks for the answers Clarea:)

It's been almost 2 years since I've cruised so I just want to be sure I'm right about what drinks are still free onboard. I will be on Brilliance next week with my DH and our 2 boys (11 and 12). They can get water, lemonade, milk, chocolate milk.....correct? Is regular coffee free? And is there still OJ in the Windjammer in the morning? Sorry if this has been asked a million times already but we just booked 2 days ago and I'm trying to figure if we even need any drink packages. I would probably buy an alcohol package for myself if this was a cruise without the kids;)

Smoothdancer.....just checking to be sure you got my check. I was balancing my checkbook and saw that it hasn't been cashed. Just wanted to be sure that it did get to you.
-
smoothdancer....I am so sorry that someone treated you that way! That is just ridiculous!

Smoothdancer--Just wanted to let you know that I didn't forget about you! I mailed your check out this afternoon. Things have been crazy around here. My husband (only 45 yrs old) has been having some heart problems all of the sudden. I have had him at the ER a few times and to several Drs over the last couple of weeks. I'm sorry that I didn't get it out to you sooner, I have just been a nervous wreck.
Again, I apologize and I thank you so much for sending the dress to me!

Let me say this!!
As I posted all these dresses, I got a great response and shipped out a lot... To date I have dressed 12 ladies!! As it progressed I became a tad bit concerned as this was costing me a lot between the postage and the bubble envelopes I had to buy... I counted on faith that the ladies would reimburse me for my postage....
After being away on a business trip I came home and do you know what, my mailbox was full with checks from every single lady I sent a package to..... It would of been easy for you all to forget about my expense and I want to thank you all for making this donation concept work.
Janet
So glad that you haven't been taken advantage of. This is all so nice of you and the other ladies that have donated dresses.
By the way, the e mail you sent back to me was empty, so I have no clue what you were trying to say....lol

Dianna,
I have posted a few picture of the 12-14's that I have on my picture website. Here is the link... Go the the albulms that say donated gowns size 12-4.(Should read 12-14, LOL I missed the one) Most are a size 14. I have many more but these are the few I had handy to take pictures of.. My fav is the Aqua dress... It is so pretty and is flattering for many figures. If you are looking for another color or full length let me know and I will post more for you.
Size 8's.
I also started a Albulm and have added a full length, plus pictures of the black and white, which is still one of my favs... See what I mean that this dress was meant to be worn with a gent in a tux!! All you size 8 ladies, check back as I take these gowns out of storage and post more. This is fun!!
Looks like I got beat out to the aqua one! LOL I'll go look again! And thank you for doing this!

I also have more in the size 12-14 group but are packed away. I can pull them out and video if anyone has a need. Off the top of my head I know I have a navy cocktail, a acqu sequence 3/4 and a black classic v neck 3/4.
I'd love to see what you have in the 12-14 size if you have the time!

I have this dress that I wore on a winter cruise, Its all Black but the top part is a soft velvet and it criss crosses , then satin band around the waist and a flowy chiffon on the bottem, size 8 Looks REALLY nice on,
The second was my daughters and its all black as well but the top half has silver sparkles, its a size 16 but runs small, she was 14 when she wore it on the cruise
lol, ignore the model in the first pic
Im new to the board and going on my first cruise in April. I am so excited! Leaving the husband and kids and taking off with friends from way back in high school!
If you still have the size 14 black dress I'd love to have it! I think its so wonderful that you all are doing this swap. With 5 kids and the economy like it is this is a God send for me!
