Anybody have any new ones to add?

I've been wondering the same thing!!! LOL I haven't read any answers, but my guess is to protect the comforter. let's see if I was right!
You are correct...its is the baggage mat...to protect your bed from dirty luggage lol. it disappears after the first nite.
On our first cruise, for about a minute or so I had my brother going...told him that was the roll away bed he slept on...he did not like that..but then he actully looked at it and called my bluff.

and just in case...I mean to put this link in this thread awhile ago.
just a vid of Glory cabin 8448 wrap balcony
-
I disagree.. We had an obstructed view on the Paradise, it was a suite so I figured the balcony would be large enough and not matter. wrong.. it was horrible.. We didn't even go out there .. The balcony was so small you couldn't sit on a chair without turning it sideways and the lifeboats were pretty much in your face. Would never again get a cabin with obsturcted view.. JMO of course.
Id say its all about the price...sometimes they are so worth it and other not so..

Very nice!! Thanks for sharing!
-
Those are very cool!!! Would you post a pic of ur whole collection, Id love to see the others...CCL ships or not. lol :D
-
here are some more random pics
this pics was cool cause I had never seen all balcony doors open for cleaning.
-
Here is some of the balcony
this pics is from the balcony door look aft
from the balcony door looking right
from the far port side looking aft.

Just back from the Glory...we had cabin 8448...we loved the balcony. it was huge..
**one side note** At around 2 am or so they turn on the water jets that clean the lido deck windows off the back...so every single morning we had the puddles and water until he dried up. not a big deal or anything just kinda of funny.
Also the room was a tad noisy. We didnt have to many problems but we r not light sleepers, so I cld see how that would be a problem for some.
Here is some of the cabin...
from the corner by the vanity
from the cabin door and closet area

Would love to see any pics you wish to share!:D

I did not find the carts of value for our party, as poster above said they run out quick..but the island is small and depending your plans, most the great stuff is well within walking distance...now to get to the other side of the island is a lil bit of a ways and its still a tad beaten up..they have been working hard after the storm, but when we were there in Nov they still had a lil more work to do. it got pretty beat up..
-
Thanks for posting this messy bed and all I have that cabin booked for my trip...good to know about the ash...:)
Your very welcome...I swear we had some better photos on a friends camera, but her camera decided to eat some HMC sand and fry itself, even erased all her photos from the card...so for all my memories i have a messy bed now. lol ;):D:rolleyes:
-
Anybody else got any new pics to add?? ;):D:rolleyes:
-
The wraps are most def worth the extra money over a standard bal...Besides the size, you get a great view, alot more privacy than some other bal...YES YES well worth it...Im in wraps on the next 3 crz we have!! ;):D

So, I'm sailing out next week and it's looking like the weather is not going to be all that wonderful (estimated high of 74).
Do you guys think Nachi Cocom will still be a good choice for the day? I've never cruised this time of year, and I understand that the averages are cooler than normal right now (lucky, lucky me). I want to make the most of my time, and I love the idea of the beach clubs in Cozumel.
I just can't decide if 74 degrees is worth it or not! I'd love to hear from someone who has been there in slightly cooler weather!
Thanks in advance!
I guess it all depends on how cold 74deg is to you...for me that a June afternoon, so we would all be in shorts and flip flops...now in Miami they mite need winter coats for that temp...We were in Mexico and it was about 76 or so...wasnt bad at all, just the wind got a little annoyoing.
Im a fan of Nachi anyhow, Ill drink and relax in all the same weather...comes with my location I guess.
And for the Van questions, I do believe they can hold 7 or 8 people in the taxi vans.
-
Hey Eileen, when will you guys be traveling?
I think it wld be because its easy access to everything...but for the life of me cant remember where the bathrooms are.:D So I am going back in April maybe even Feb, so if I go before you I will sure to some investgating for you.

With so many questions about Nachi on here, I figured I wld post some info they sent me awhile back...kinda help everyone get the idea. Hope this helps someone. :D

Ping Pong on the Liberty. He had a sense of humor not most have or wish to share with the cruisers...AND PLEASE DONT THINK IM TOO TOO NUTZ....but he made sound effects everytime he brought a plate or anything at the table ended with a sound...brought laughter to every table he was waiting close to us....best show in the MDR we ever had.
-
Great start so far, thanks everyone..Does anyone have any pics of the Glory??? And at somepoint anyone with Dream photos that would be super..Thanks again everyone, hope this thread helps more than just me.:D
-
This is cabin 7445 on the Liberty, Cat 9c..(sorry for the mess, we slept good lol)
We loved it cause the bed was right in the middle of the windows and it doesnt have a couch so the room was huge.
This is the Starboard side of the aft balcony, Im standing at the corner, this side was about the standard size balcony.
Standing the same spot just other side of balcony, this would be off the corner and directly aft. (its a big balcony for sure):D
And this would be me standing on the very back of the ship looking towards the starboard side..
My only bad part of the cabin , but it happens to most aft balconies was the amount of ash that happen to fall on the chairs and the deck, but other than that, the room was so quiet, the balcony was huge....We gave cabin 7445 a 9 out of a 10.
-
Ok so I have been going thru all the recent threads and it seems that we have threads of cabin pictures all over, so my thought would be start a thread of nothing but cabin pics.....one central thread where people can get an idea of what the cabins and balconies look like. So I suggest we post a pic or several, name the ship and the cabin number and a small comment about the rooms, the pros and cons. Things to be aware of, things we found hidden, things to stay far far away from, etc....
Lets not go into full reviews or turn this into a debate thread...Just side notes that can help future cruisers. And please unless its about a room or with pics please lets not do the random comments, lets try and keep it to topic..Thanks everyone hope this will help some people!! :D

We are a November/late April cruisers most times. We like to get away in the winter here in Colo and April is just such the perfect time. Its getting hot but not to bad, and after spring break things seem to be at a good price.
