  1. Use of the serenity area is free.

I have not had a couples massage, however, might offer some advice- you can purchase a spa pass (unless they sell out before you get one) and have unlimited use do the thalassotherapy pool and thermal suites for the entire week. There is also a mud room that you can rent (which we have done) and it includes several products and one hour of private time in the area. I'm not sure of the price of the mud room if you don't have a spa cabin, I think it's discounted for the spa staterooms. But it was a wonderful and relaxing time that I think was better than a couples massage.

Thanks for the advice! I will def look into that!

  2. 1) It's something like $3.33 per appetizer.

    2) Serenity is free.

    3) I don't do massages, so I can't answer that one. ;)

Thanks! That brought up a couple more questions lol I added to OP

  3. I apologize if these questions have already been asked... the "search" function is down right now so I cannot check :(

A few questions I have about the Carnival Magic (we sail in two weeks!)

    1) Is there an extra charge for food in Red Frog Pub?

    2) Is Serenity free of charge, or extra? If extra, how much?

    3) Has anybody done a couples massage? What information can you give me about it? I'm curious as to what "add ons" you can add to the massage? The couples massage room looks like it has some sort of spa in it but that probably isn't included.

    4) What about other charges for food? I know about the steak house and Italian... what about the taste bar? Coffee shop/dessert place? etc?

    Thanks so much!!

  4. The two day passes you purchased do not include the Capilano Suspension Bridge, that is a separate tour...but all is not lost, the CSB have a free shuttle to and from the attraction which is operated by the Vancouver Trolley people. Here is a link link You can do the bridge and then do both the red and blue loop getting off and on as many times as you wish for the duration of your passes.

The pixulated Orca and the Olympic Cauldron form part of Jack Poole plaza which is just west of the Convention Centre, you will get off at Canada Place and its about 1 1/2 blocks to the left as you are facing the water.

Eating places around the Holiday Inn, except for restaurants like the Keg and Joe Fortes on Thurlow just south of Robson St. I will leave for Ut to answer as he lives in the general neighborhood.

We actually have already purchased Capilano Tickets but thanks for mentioning that its not included just incase I didnt know that :) So, youre saying that I can ride the red and blue loops 5 times each if I like? (Not that I am...just wanna make sure!)

Thanks for the eating suggestions and your help!

  5. Hi :) I have a couple of questions!

    1) Regarding the Vancouver Trolley "Hop on, Hop off" bus...we bought a 2 day pass online. I read somewhere that the pass is good for 1 full circuit per day? Does that mean that we cant hop on the bus in the morning for Capillano, go back to our hotel, wash up and then hop back on later in the day??

    2) Where exactly is the pixelated orca? Is it at Olympic Park? Does the trolley stop near the orca?

    3) Where are some good eating places near the Holiday Inn downtown?

    Thanks!!

  6. Hi, 14 of us are traveling on the Conquest in May...I have a few questions:

    1) What do ya'll think about the "tiered" effect on the pool deck...most ships that I have been on have a flat deck with a bunch of beach chairs and one upper deck with beach chairs. I have never seen a ship with a tiered deck like this! Good or bad thing?

    2) This ships waterslide doesnt go into a pool? Really? Does this made it funner or what are ya'lls thoughts on this?

    3) Does the spa offer couples massage? If so, can someone tell me about them? cost etc?

    4) Is the "adult only" pool really "adult only?" Is this the pool with the retractable cover over it?

    Thanks guys!
