Thanks everyone for your replies as the places we have stayed before are all booked at the time we cruise next so was just checking to see what everyone else liked

we were put into the Carib Hilton when we had a flight delay, great hotel with good restaurants on site. A small beach. Close to the embarkation pier.

How far away from Old San Juan is this ?

Question for anyone who has used the Royal IQ app while on board... Did you encounter any problems with it ? did it work all the time? give you info that you needed? and was it worth the money ? will be using it on Anthem

Thank you for your reply DaniDanielle , We have been on Allure and they had a really nice room with a cutting machine in the room to use with some die cuts and some paper we could use was just wondering if Anthem has the same ? we really enjoyed the room on Allure , we have several sea days on our next cruise so we will take some of our own stuff to go with stuff we purchase in this room.

So if your sea pass is "on the door" what would keep someone from taking one from a door that was not the person it is supose to be for and use it ? not sure I like this idea guess maybe I dont know enough about how it works yet

ok .... so I am alittle confused on this royal IQ app.... so this works without your phone being on in regular mode? it wont recieve any regular tx messages and phone calls right ? to rack up a big phone bill like with emails etc. Do you put phone in airplane mode or what ....help me out here gang! this sounds really neat but need to understand so we wont get a hugh phone bill after the cruise from our phone company

so this room is not like other ships that have paper and punches and kits for sale?

Anyone that has been on Anthem of the Seas could you tell me if there is a room lead by Anthem employees ..... maybe Explorer Academy ....that has scrapbooking .. beading etc? there is a great room on Allure

We love the promenade ..... we will be on Anthem on our next cruise. Will we be disappointed with the inside of this ship without a promenade ?.... all of you that have cruised Anthem describe any areas like the promenade please ......if any?

we too enjoyed the central park one.... very quiet and beautiful ... would pick this one again

We have sailed both while decotations were up and they both do a good job... we do prefer Royal over Carnival anyday tho.

oh yea my vote is take the PR cabin... we have had a PR cabin when ever available ... we love those cabins .. never had any trouble with cabin noise etc. have had one on Allure- Explorer - Freedom and Voyager

oh Wow ... yep I would do the cupcake class in a minute! hope it is available on Freedom.... this sounds like fun... We have spend way more on photos that are just in a drawer "somewhere" then 22 dollars... your on vacation have fun!... and thats what the price of maybe two foo foo drinks are... hum... or how many pulls on a slot machine that you know you are probably not gonna win at ...
