    Sailingduo, thanks for the info!!

How  much is a weeks pass at the thermal suites? Was it very crowded?
    thanks !!!

We had a couples pass, it ran close to $300.    At times the beds were all being used, seems there were 8 of them.  We usually went down early afternoon for about an hour at a time.  We very seldom had anyone sharing the sauna with us.

  2. We were just on Harmony last week.  We used the Thermal Suite, which does have the sauna/steam rooms.  Along with the Thermal beds.  We purchased for week after we got on the ship.  Go to the Spa to purchase.  The ladies locker rooms did not have free sauna/steam rooms as I had used in the past on other ships so assuming the men's locker room is the same.

  3. I frequently check prices on my booked cruises.  Until today I haven't ever had a problem. As of today am able to pick my sailing from the pricing page as usual, but the next page that comes up is blank.

I have cleared the cache, I use Firefox have also tried Chrome and Edge. I was wondering if anyone else has this same experience and maybe how it was resolved.

    Thanks for your help.

  4. I made a change to our stateroom for our June 2022 Alaska cruise today.  The taxes are double of what they should be, also had this problem when we moved this cruise from 2021 date to 2022.  The change itself working with the RCI rep took well over an hour.  Now I am waiting to talk with resolutions to get the tax issue corrected.  Is there another phone number available to call to get this done??

  5. On one of our last b2b cruises,  those of us that were on the next sailing were waiting patiently in the lounge as required before disembarking and re-boarding the ship.  We were unable to do this because a couple of people decided they wanted to wait on ship as long as they possibly could.  At this point ship officers asked those in the lounge if we were on the next sailing.  Once they got to this couple - and found out they weren't they were told at that point they "had to leave.'  Yes, they were the last people off the ship - but also left the rest of us that were waiting to start our next week of vacation at a stand still because a couple of people decided it would be better to wait on the ship as to make other plans for when their cruise was over.

  6. Our last 2 b2b's have been on Adventure we enjoyed them both very much. In answer to your questions.

We booked both of our b2b's directly with RC. I'm sure a TA or online booking would probably be just as easy. If at all possible, get the same stateroom for both cruises. It saves you time on the turn around day not having to pack your personal belongings to be moved to a different stateroom. Your stateroom attendant will move your clothing that is hanging up from what I have read in the past.

Yes, you will be escorted off the ship as a group with other b2backers. Again not an issue as you will be informed a day or 2 prior as to how this will be arranged. Including receiving your new room keys, with information if you do want to leave the ship during the day.

Our cabin steward has been the same for both weeks of our b2b's. Our dining table has usually changed with new wait staff. This year another couple at our table would also be on the following week. Our matrie'd asked if we wanted to be set together again and arranged that for the following week also. At that time we also requested a table near the windows - that was also arranged.

All in All a b2b is a very un-stressful way to sail.

  7. We booked this same cruise in January. At the time we were "Told" we were able to get the last 2 reservations for early dining. I thought that was odd at the time too. I would prefer at this time in our lives to have main dining rather than my time dining. Just a question are gratuities paid in advance if you have my time dining? Could that be why many spots are already reserved a year out for early main dining??? Is RC pushing for the cash of gratuities up front when booking a cruise?

  8. Thank you for your responses about the parades on the ship.

So do you remember if the parade is at the beginning of the cruise (yes I know it will be in one of the flyers, but it takes "time" to read all of that:(), middle part or close to the end?[/quote

I believe the parade would be on Friday, as a farewell to the week.

  9. I understand that AOTS has a parade close to the end of the cruise? Can you tell me if it would be on a Friday day or night (we get off the ship early on Saturday morning), and if so, about what time does it start?

I love watching parades, no matter what.:)

We were on Adventure last year, and going back in a about a month. The parade would be in the early evening on the promenade, prior to the parade starting the crew will cordon off the area of the promenade for the parade. There will be standing room behind the roped off area. The also have a 70's disco night earlier in the week on the promenade. All times will be listed in the cruise compass.

  10. Two of these emails were received at my workplace, one of them came to an info@ email address for the company I work for. This email had my name & information on it as if I had made the reservation The 2nd one was received on a former employees' company email. She has retired and also a personal friend, I know for a fact she hasn't booked any cruises. I agree it's a phishing scam.

  11. We did our 1st b2b in February of 2014, we found the extra week was just enough for us to be totally relaxed. We returned from our 2015 cruise also a b2b with our 2016 b2b cruises booked while on board. This is the only way for us to get 2 cruises in in the same year. We are from the Midwest and still working - have to fly to any location. When you consider the cost of airfare why not take the extra week?

As for the entertainment, you will feel a bit more relaxed not worrying about getting to "all" the shows in 1 week.

We have booked our same stateroom for both weeks. That way you don't have to worry about packing up your personal items and waiting to move them to the next stateroom.

  12. We recently returned from Adventure, the 1st departures were later than scheduled. You can do walk off - but that also depends on when the ship is cleared by customs to start that also. As it was departure according to luggage tag colors were about a 1/2 hour later than what had been scheduled. You should also leave enough time to go through the luggage scan needed at the airport BEFORE checking in for your flight.

  13. Having just returned from our Adventure cruises, (2/27 - 3/8) we enjoyed everything about the cruise. Our service in the dining room was fantastic with very attentive waiters & assistant waiters. We enjoyed all that was on the menu. We haven't tried the specialty dining, others at our table had and they enjoyed those meals also. Our room steward always greeted us with a smile & laugh. As for reviews I think one has to take each one with a "grain of salt". Your vacation is what you make it.

I can"t speak for the drinks as we are non-drinkers, prices didn't seem to stop anyone from ordering from what I could see though!

    Go and enjoy your trip.
