  1. YankeeFan4Life, sounds like you had a great cruise!  You probably missed my questions because i screwed up the quote. Was originally going to quote you, then decided i hate when others quote a longer post when it adds no value. So I cut it down to couple sentences, then decided it made no sense and cut it all but was left with my post looking like your quote... I digress as i just created a long post that added no value... the questions i had -

How was Embarkation processWhat time did you arrive and what time were you on ship? And same for Debarkation process, what time did you queue up and what time were you off the ship and on your way?  TIA.

  3. I was able to use my CN Cert expiring at the end of Feb '19 on my Oct '19 cruise booked this past January. I called after i booked when i couldn't apply it online and that's when i was told you have to cruise by the exp date and not just use by exp date (how i mistakenly thought it worked). Rep i spoke with contacted a Spvsr who agreed to let me apply the CN Cert with caveat that i would lose it if i cancelled or made material booking change after the Feb CN Cert exp date.  I thought that was more than fair.

  4. We did this a few years ago when sailing out of San Juan.  We went to La Barrachina for their Flamenco Dancing dinner show. Very good show and a pretty good restaurant to sample local flavor.  Also said to be the birthplace of the pina colada.  After that we headed over to Nuyorican Cafe for some live music and Salsa dancing (great people watching too).  Sadly, looks like they were a casualty of Hurricane Maria and have since closed.  Hoping you can find another club that had that vibe.  Really cool.

  5. anyone have pics of or anyone who has stayed in cabin 7351 on the legend? Heading out on sunday and that is our cabin and we have never had an aft cabin before. just wondering about the room/balcony.

    thanks,

Ah, an aft extended balcony - good choice! Try cruise line rooms dot com. There's not a pic of that room but there are pics of the one adjacent on the floorplan (7302). Or you could look at other decks for that same location to get a better idea.

  6. Wow! July 1986, my honeymoon cruiseship ...

Does this bring back memories - flaming Baked Alaska, I'd never seen anyone dance with fire on their head! The commode in the shower stall, the radio in the headboard, and super small rooms - I couldn't turn around without bumping into my wife (but hey, it WAS our honeymoon ;)). Good times.

I remember the poolside waiters would have this sing/song chant as they were hawking their drinks - "Strawberry and Pina Colada together - it don't get no better...".
