My family of twelve are booked in the Haven (3 suites including the Owner's suite) on the Bliss for tomorrow's departure to Alaska.  Two years ago we were in identical suites on the Escape.  I just came across this board and was astounded to learn of this new NCL dining policy.  You can bet that one of the first actions I take after embarkation is to advise the Haven dining staff of my expectation to have my entire entourage seated when we desire.  Any exception to this request will result no further bookings with NCL.  Hopefully, NCL administrators monitor this board!

My wife and I are now on the Silver Galapagos from Dec 7 till the 14. We took the pre-cruise Machu Picchu excursion, which was first class. Only one other couple was with us for that trip. Excellent hotels, guides and care.

While there are what we consider some adjustments needed to come up to par with other Silversea cruises we have taken, we are having a great time visiting this unique place, meeting new friends, and being treated well by the crew and the National Park guides.

There have been definite improvements over experiences of previous reviewers, and it is my opinion that with continued work by Silversea management, this ship will provide ultimately the top rated way to experience the Galapagos.

My wife and I are booked on the December 7 eastern and northern island cruise. We are also on the per-cruise Machu Pichu excursion arriving one day earlier in Lima to acclimate. We are also curious about other cruisers experiences when Silverseas takes over. Our expectation are high having been on multiple other Silverseas trips.
