  1. On my last cruise on Azura we had 4 formal nights I only wore a dress on the first and evening trousers on the other 3 only 1top was a bit sparkly the others not sparkly but good evening tops and very comfortable ,ones that I would wear for a special do here and I felt just as dressed up as when I had my long evening dress on only maybe a bit more comfy ,you can dress a plain top up with some bling rember it's your holiday enjoy .

  2. We too went on that cruise but joined on the 24 th I would agree with it all ,no you don't purchase your headphones they give them out you can keep them as well blankets and pillows provided food on TC flight good and a choice ,meals in the main dining room (Meridian) was very good but poor service could get tables for 2if wanted to wait about 20-30 mins or you could share we tried both no problems with either we also went in Sindu twice just delicious,Seventeen fabulous,Verona twice very nice we had breakfast in the buffet no problems at all always went about 7-30 food good and hot but no extras just usual English stuff ,lunch was either in buffet or in the Pininsular wasn't really that keen on the buffet lunch and some days very busy but could always find something to eat there is a grill/pizza bar but didn't get round to trying any ,always got a sunbed on sea days we went to a small area on deck 17 next to Seventeen restaurant very quite always got waiter service ,so for us like others the only problem is the wifi so come on P&O catch up !!!!

  3. If you are on a P&O fly cruise it is 23kg of luggage can take 1case 23kg or 2 cases to the equivalent of 23kg but of course you have to consider the wieght of your 2nd case the 20kg I think you are looking at is the limit per case at Southampton have just completed a fly cruise and can assure you it is 23kg per person ...

  4. W e have just come back from our cruise on the A330 as said plenty of leg room seats bit hard and quite thin ,metal armrests I think 8hours is just about as much time you would want to spend on them they are in an upright position at all times can't lower the back you can have free tea coffee water anytime ,toilets downstairs all in all not a bad flight either way .

  5. I am just off Azura the Christmas cruise and she is showing signs of wear and tear. The carpets in particular do need changing. In our first cabin they were threadbare in many places. The shower curtains need changing as ours was all moldy on the bottom. My wife had pre-booked spa treatments and has said she has flung whiter sheets out to the bucket, they were grey not nice white linen as you would expect, the towels were hard not fluffy and the bathrobes were scratchy and in need of the aforementioned bucket. If she had known this there is no way she would have prebooked and prepaid and will never prebook again.

    Regards

Just got back yesterday from Azura and yes the carpets are stained and bit thin in places but all being replaced soft furnishings as well must have replaced towels all ours where white fluffy and not a bit threadbare clean shower curtain every 3-4 days ,must be all new in spar as well had my hair done and a spar treatment another day and all lovely soft and very white just as should be so looks like started replacing things already ,a large team of engineers got on in Barbados so clearly some work and planning is starting now .

  6. I don't get it is the flight this Sat or next Sat 24th as we are on said flight next Sat but have not received any change ?

Got it now that's Ventura think I had blinkers on that it was Azura for some reason I thought Ventura flights where Thurs/ Fri panic over for now ! ....

  7. That's nice to read positive things about Azura they have been pretty bad of late and I think it's probably fair to say it isn't P&O most favourite ship ,but I'm going on her soon and I'll go with a positive attitude so I'm certain I'll fully enjoy my holiday .

  8. Dave, can I ask you a question on here about P&O?:D

On Princess cruises there is a separate dining room for Freedom dining guests. Is this the same on P&O? If not how on earth do they accommodate all the guests in two sittings in the Club dining rooms?

Yes Linda there is a separate dining room for freedom diners, and theFB page for P&O is dreadful a load of jumped up idiot's but have never met any of those sort of people on the cruises all the people have been good friendly types wanting to do same as us enjoy a lovely cruise have never gone to bed before 12 and always still lots of people up but only ever been on fly cruise so average age could be bit different, have a look if there is a FB page just for the ship you are on ,we are going on Azura and 2good pages for that nice friendly posts ....
