We just did it today off Oasis. No pre check TSA or anything. In line to get off ship at 6:15 and the line was forming pretty long even then. We got right into cab, ate breakfast at the airport and still waited at least 45 min to board after that. We were on southwest, not sure if that would make a difference or not. We've been bumped by American before when they oversold the flight...

With delayed departure on Oasis, think we can still board and show up at port at same time? Around 11am-ish?
Too bad we didn't know about possible delay yesterday when we were scrambling to rebook our cancelled flight...

We've been to Tulum long ago.
Also been to Nachi, Mr. Sanchos and Paradise Beach. Loved them all. Probably would choose Mr. Sanchos as our favorite.
Our coming trip we are going to try the Bar Hop due to the great reviews and comments here and on trip advisor.
We're saving Chankanaab for the next trip we take with the kids (whenever that may be!).
So many great options in Cozumel. Our favorite port!

Thanks c-leg5 for the details. I've sent an email from the website to ask about times and availability. We will probably try it and either shop downtown before or after. If we went to Sanchos, we wouldn't use the water toys, etc and just hang out on a lounger and enjoy the atmosphere. I can't see how we could go wrong either way, there are just so many options in Cozumel that we always want to do it all. thanks :-)

Good to know - thanks so much.

Hi. I've been also debating the bar hop. It gets so many rave reviews, and everyone says how much fun it is. But all I think when I see the name is 'party bus'. What is it about it that makes it so fun? We won't have the kids with us, so this is the opportunity for us to do it. I just can't decide between this and Mr. Sanchos. We'll be there I think from 10am to 7pm, do also unsure if the bar hop is a good use of our time or if it would be right in the middle of the day etc.

I'm a little confused on the packages, I hope this is an appropriate place to ask and add details to this thread.
Is the Voom surf - 1 device ($9.09/day), responsive enough to check basic email to check in with family occasionally? Wouldn't do much actual surfing, no streaming. It is 30% on our planner for Oasis in a couple weeks, or I can get Voom Surf & Stream for $12.95/day.

I'm loving this review and you're pictures! Thanks so much for sharing, can't wait to be on Oasis in just over 3 weeks.[emoji41]

Thanks, enjoyed reading the review. This reminds me I need to take a better attitude like you when things don't happen so perfectly. Seems to me, 5 days is too short especially losing a day (or more) like you did. Glad you enjoyed it and have a great day in NYC.
Beautiful pic of sunrise and view! love it.

In my experience, the ship the morning of debarkation isn't a pleasant place to remain. No one wants you there, they want you off. Even if you could, I would want to leave too. I agree with the time out comment...

I do love the frozen mojito as well, I think because they blend in the mint with the rest. So minty!
But no one has mentioned the BBC. My absolute favorite.

Thanks for the review! Following along and enjoying it ...

Thanks for sharing your review! Considering the price of the suites, I would be upset and disappointed as well.
I haven't read many reviews yet about this class of ship, and am wondering about the solarium. Did you spend much time in the solarium and what are your thoughts? Was it crowded?
The Solarium is one of our favorite locations on Oasis class, and pictures make it look great on Anthem.
Thanks!

This is a splurge, last minute for us, vacation that we hadn't planned on, which is why we went with the guarantee. Of course we want to get the best room possible, but we were going to be fine with whatever we got.
It was kind of exciting actually waiting to see what would happen - lol. I was checking every few hours this week looking to find out. Now I guess I can get back to work :-)
Thanks for the input! We'll take pictures and share later!

Thanks for the response.
There are no longer any C2's left. Almost all available CP balconies are on Deck 14 (c1), which I don't think I want to make the switch for (unless there is a reason I should reconsider?).
Only other cabins are 12639 and 12637 which are also C1.
I cannot figure out what is the difference between a C1 and C2?
Thanks!

Hi,
Just posting for the sake of sharing information on guarantees. We made a reservation for Oct 8 sailing on Oasis from FLL last Friday 8/19.
We booked a neighborhood balcony guarantee today 8/25 (cheaper than the inside rate) . We just got our room assignment today - right at the 1 week mark.
We were assigned room 11255, Central Park view balcony. It seems to be a pretty good assignment to me, unless I'm missing something.
Just curious, has anyone stayed in this room or have any thoughts on it? I think we'll check back for price reductions on outside balconies (who knows?), but are pretty happy considering this is an unplanned "extra" vacation with just hubby and I without kids.

We stayed at the Hollywood Beach Marriott before our spring break Oasis cruise. It is on the south side of the port so cab fare was a little higher to airport and cruise port. Hollywood Beach is a great beach with a boardwalk and very family friendly. Have also stayed on Fort Lauderdale Beach at the Courtyard, but with kids Hollywood Beach can't be beat. Unsure if they offer a breakfast package.

Thanks for posting the great review and pictures. You have a beautiful family.
We went to Adult Daycare several years back with Derek Lewis out of Galveston, and I think it was one of the best memories of that cruise.

Thanks for posting your review. I'm really enjoying all the details.

We just got bumped from our post cruise flight until tomorrow morning. This helped us out a lot. I'm calling and hoping to book Springhill Suites now! Looks like it also has laundry I can do with our 'extra' time since we have no clean clothes.
Thanks!

We have one from the Nav. of the Sea's last March...it's really nice...holds about 8 or 9 cans with ice over the top...pretty lite with handle to hold onto...we got our last yr with 1/2 doz beer and the cost was 26.00...i'm sure they still sell them but i don't remember seeing it in the logo shop...only at the bar...by the pool...
Thanks! I'll take a picture if I see one next week!
I keep checking back to see if there is more of the review. Sad there is no update :(

Hi - I am just now caught up reading your review and am really enjoying all the details. We leave in a week on Oasis, although it is Eastern itinerary. Thanks for writing such a detailed review, looks like a lot of fun.
I have one very silly question, I don't seem to find any recent references to the "beer cooler" on Oasis. Did you happen to notice if they were still selling it? I'm not so interested in the beer, but the RCI cooler would be very nice as a souvenier as well as to bring some drinks for us & kids to the aft balconies. I would love to purchase one if they still sell it on this ship.
Thanks again for the lovely review!! I can't wait to bring the kids.

Oasis of the Seas Cabin 1758 Review
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
We made it and it was great! Went to meet & mingle and won a back pack in the raffle. It didn't last long really.
I've been meaning to post some comments and what not, but haven't gotten to it yet. Getting caught up at work, plus I'd like to also figure out how to post pictures.
We had a great time, loved Cozumel and the ship. We stayed in a Central Park balcony, cabin 11607. We actually found it to be one of the loudest cabins we've stayed in. Maybe just luck of draw with neighbors. Nothing major and still great. I'll have to post something separately. We wanted to try it out, but we missed the ocean view.
