    Faster to the Fun - Sold Out!!

    I can say that if the FTTF are all sold out it's possible that someone may cancel and it could release a FTTF for you to purchase - that's how we got ours. With a little bit of luck and persistence you may be able to secure one for your cabin. It took a month of watching before one turned up for me to nab. :)

    Just off the Breeze! Watcha wanna know?

    You know, there was a TON of rain in our forecast and we didn't see a single drop. It's the Caribbean -- every port is always forecasts for rain!

     

    My Fun Times are in my luggage, but off the top of my head, they played The Fault in Our Stars, Divergent, Malificent, How to Train Your Dragon 2, Halloween (on Halloween LOL), one of the Godzilla movies, The Other Woman, one of the Fast and the Furious movies...I'll make sure to post a full list in my review when I can access my Fun Times!

     

    Top 3-5 things I did onboard...hmm...in no particular order...

     

    1. Welcome Aboard show was hilarious until I got pulled onstage to dance my tush off (literally...). Mom had fun watching the replays on the tv of that one.

     

    2. Live music in the Red Frog pub. It's acoustic and fantastic. The pub grub not so much -- skip that.

     

    3. Halloween costume contest. Anything Wee Jimmy hosted was hilarious (which was pretty much every event -- I couldn't name or identify a single other member of the entertainment staff because Wee Jimmy was everywhere. Not sure what that says about his staff but he was great!).

     

    4. Cucina del Capitano on the first night for dinner -- free carafe of wine.

     

    5. Seaside Theatre! Movies + popcorn + blankets + cruise air = absolute relaxation!

     

     

    Thank you! LOL my DD(13) was all excited to hear about several of those movies! Did they provide blankets or should we pack a couple? I'm guessing it was a little chilly at night? Temperatures during the day nice enough for shorts and short sleeves?

     

    I think your quick note back has the entire family ramping back up on excitement - hehe thanks again!

    Kids S&S Account - Opinions Needed

    We will be sailing on the Breeze this Saturday and I have a question about the kid's Sign and Sail accounts. DD(13) wants to bring her spending cash from her good grades and DD's best friend (11) will be coming aboard with her own cash. When we check in, can we give them the cash and set up daily limits? Or will they only accept our credit card? In addition - any cash that is not spent, will the girls get it back?

     

    Or, is it smarter to just go ahead and set the girls up with daily spending limits on our credit card, and then give them back whatever cash they didn't spend?

     

    Hope this all made sense. :)

    Felt like I just watched an awesome commercial for Carnival! :)

     

    Loved the dog and your boy digging at the end.. I read somewhere on CC that there were a couple dogs at Jack's that had an affinity for digging to China!

    No way I would cancel... Typical chicken little mentality. :eek::eek:

     

    Ebola is real and deadly, but if we allow a few idiots in the media to control our lives, we will never leave home. Media hype is why we are in the shape we're in, most know what I mean! :eek::eek:

     

     

    Agreed!! Well said.

     

    DH and I have agreed that if we are catching Ebola, what better place to catch it than on a cruise. Seriously though, we sail in 19 days - I'm more nervous about catching a cold from a fellow airline passenger than anything on the ship.

    Great question! We usually drive to port but this is our first sailing we are flying - I would have panicked at the last minute about what to do. We were thinking about attempting to carry everything on and not check any bags but it doesn't look possible.
