  1. Centex...your recent reviews are what made me change my mind to go straight with carnival for the excursion. I emailed Mark from Coral Breeze before making my final decision and when he told me that he was only offering 1 out of the 4 excursions this summer, I didn't want to take a chance and have it cancelled and being left doing nothing for Belize. I've always want to snorkel the barrier reef here and the only thig that will stop me is weather at this point haha :)

  2. Hi! My sister and I are going to be sailing on the Carnival Liberty in August. We were originally going to take Coral Breeze for our excursion (the snorkeling/manatee watch/bannister island tour) but because it is low season, they are not using that tour for the summer. I then looked at the "Barrier Reef Snorkel with Beach Break" through carnival and booked that because it looked like a similar tour. Has anyone done this tour before??

    Tour discription:

"Travel by Catamaran to the largest Barrier Reef in the Western Hemisphere where you will snorkel amongst the corals surrounded by colorful tropical fish.

Cut right through the turquoise blue waters of Belize aboard a 65-foot high-speed custom-built catamaran en route to your snorkeling excursion.

    On this excursion you will:

Receive professional instruction on how to snorkel.

Be accompanied by your crew into water for snorkeling.

Have access to snorkel areas designed for beginners and experts.

Swim among extraordinary coral formations and colorful tropical fish.

Relax on the beach, kayak or float on a comfortable beach float.

Receive complimentary rum punch, sodas and bottled water.

Notes: Minimum age to snorkel is 8 years old. Snorkeling vests are mandatory and must be worn while snorkeling.

All equipment, instruction and transportation included. A towel, sunscreen & underwater camera are recommended. Restrooms are available on the boat."

Any feedback would be appreciated!! Looking forward to the cruise!

  3. Just got off the sky on Friday and when we were in Freeport, we went to a drug store in Port Lucaya Market and stocked up on 3 bottled waters, some gatorades, and a bottle of Sprite. Got on the ship without a problem with 2 bags full of drinks. We finished everything except for 1 bottle of water. The water in the bathroom of the cabin was OK to brush your teeth and rinse out your mouth but it never got really cold...just luke warm. I did see people filling up water bottles in the buffet when it wasn't that crowded. No staff said anything to them. I hope this helps!
