Hi Wondering what tourist sights can easily be visited by strolling Darwin on Sunday.

Are the stores and shops open on Sunday? Also wondering if vendors will accept US dollars or British pounds.

Also considered going to Aviation Heritage Center and/ or Museum of the Northern Territory and / or Territory Wildlife Park and/or WWII Tunnels. Can these be seen by local transport - or tour operators at the pier?

Also heard about the TubTour. Is this a hop on bus and is it really worth it?

I'll be arriving on the Diamond Princess to Chan May, Vietnam in a couple of weeks. Was wondering if they offer a shuttle bus into Da Nang. From all my research, there are no taxis or other transportation options at the Chan May pier.

Hi all,

I am curious about the new port of Chan May (for Da Nang). I want to visit Hoi An but the cruise ship excursion is sold out online. I am happy to take a taxi, but am not sure if there are private guides (non committed) or taxis available for hire at the port. I am traveling solo so booking a tour ahead is a difficult and expensive option.

I know this is the case for Da Nang, but Da Nang is about an hour away from Chan May.

Does anyone recall the facilities at Chan May?
