At the airport waiting for our flight so here are my final thoughts. Yesterday we had breakfast in coastal kitchen. We loved this area it is wonderful. We each had a massage and I had a facial. The spa is beautiful and the massages were good my facial was good but the hard sales pitch was too much I won't get a facial again. Last night we had dinner at chops again and the service was slow. We saw the Columbus show and it was my favorite show. It was fun and the cast was great. This morning we had breakfast in coastal kitchen again and our genie in scoffed us off the ship and we were in a taxi within 10 minutes of leaving breakfast. Overall the ship is fantastic. I would love to sail it on a less port intensive cruise so that we could enjoy it more. Sorry I forgot about the puzzle room but if you have any other questions just ask.

Sorry it's been so many days since my last post but Italy was long and exhausting in a good way. We did private shared tours I found out about on our sailing on the cruise critic message board. They were great. I'm just going to talk about the ship here though. The elevators can be crowded but we never had to wait too long for one. We did not do a lot of activities on this port intensive cruise but what we did do there were not any lines. We did see a line for the windjammer at peak times but the food was not good so we only ate there once. We did go get cookies to bring to the room a few times and those were good. Having coastal kitchen and the suite lounge on deck 17 is wonderful and a great use of the space. Much better than in the past when we cruised on allure. It was never too crowded when we've gone. All of the staff has been very nice and seem happy and cannot do enough to make us feel welcome. Our genie Alexandra has been wonderful. We haven't asked for much. She has offered to escort us off the ship at every port but it's been very easy to get on and off no lines. Our favorite thing and really the only thing we've used her for is to save us seats at the shows. Walking in and have the best seats in the house has been awesome. She even brought me a blanket to go over my legs at the ice show. Grease was very good, the aqua show and the ice show are very abstract and I would like them to be a little more upbeat and fun. Tonight we will sea the Columbus and the Iskate show. Our cabin is amazing and we have thoroughly enjoyed it and our cabin stewards are fantastic. Today is our sea day and even at 11:00 am there were still plenty of chairs by the pools. The suite outdoor deck is a little oasis that is under used and last night sailing from Naples we sat in the jacuzzi and waived goodbye to Italy. It was beautiful. Everything we have wanted including milkshakes and hot fudge sundaes at Johnny Rockets, all alcohol, all up grade items at chops, and anything else you can think of has been included. I'm not sure about the age on the puzzle room but I will try to remember to ask. If you have any more questions just let me know.

Sorry I didn't post last night but I'm back. Yesterday was Marseille but we stayed on the ship. We had breakfast at the windjammer because we slept in and It was the only breakfast at 10:30am. No wait to get in and we found a table. I did the ultimate abyss slide and it was really fun. We spent most of the day relaxing and then we did a bridge and engine room tour that was very interesting. We went to Izumi for the tepenyaki side of the restaurant. The chef was really fun and the food was excellent. After dinner I lost $50.00 at the casino and then bedtime and a cute elephant towel animal.

Today was Palma De Mallorca. We slept in a little, had breakfast at Johnny Rockets and we were seated right away and had the same nice waiter from yesterday. We went into town for a little while and then back on my the ship. Before the cruise we had been traveling from San Diego to London, Paris, and Barcelona and we are a little tired. We relaxed on the balcony and read a book then played bingo. It's very small in the Mediterranean it's in a Boleros and they only played one game. Then it was formal night and we had a very nice dinner at Chops. The lobster I had was included in the star class. Then we saw the Fine Line Aqua show. It was good but not as good as the show we saw on the Allure. Our Genie again was holding our seats. I think this is the the hardest part of her job as people are always trying to take them. It is one of our favorite perks though. More tomorrow.

We have not dined in the main dining room but I had lobster tonight at chops and it was included.

Here are my first impressions and I will try to update daily. Boarding was very easy. In Barcelona your bags do not stay with you but they were at the room before we were. We boarded with our Genie at about 11:30 our room was not ready so she escorted us to the Coastal kitchen for a very nice lunch where we met the concierge and his assistant. At 1:00 we met her at the room and we had champagne, fruit, and some lovely snacks waiting for us. Our refrigerator was stocked with beer, water, and soda we had asked for. After unpacking we explored the ship, shared a chocolate shake at Johnny Rockets. Our waiter was really friendly and we enjoyed talking to him and watching the staff dance which was fun and then my husband did the flow rider. We had dinner in the Coastal Kitchen which was very good the filet was amazing and our waiter Steve was great. Then we saw the show Grease which was fantastic. So far everything is wonderful and the staff is top notch. More tomorrow.

I received an email today from my new genie Alexandra. I told her about all my previous emails a messages with Reyno. I am waiting to here back if I need to redo everything with her or if Reyno gave her the information. I'm hoping it's a seem less transition.

Click on the loop link in the email. It is the highlighted word loop. It will send you to the link to talk to your genie.

Sorry I meant Loop.

I know a lot of suite guests have been looking for Genie info on this board so here's my experience so far. We sail on September 25th and I received my Genie email today and contacted him through Voom. We are in suite 1722 and our Genie will be Alexander. I actually was emailed by Reyno but he will be going on vacation next week. I sent him all of our dining reservation requests, show requests, and a spa reservation and bridge and engine room tour request. He said he will take care of everything before we board. I also asked for an 11:00am boarding time and that was confirmed. He answered right back to me on everything. I am so excited about how prompt and accommodating he was. I hope the actual cruise is just as nice.

We are 17 days out from our sail date and we will be in a Sky Loft Suite on the Harmony. How far in advance did you get your personal Genie letter?

It's kind of a funny survey asking some random questions. But it did ask what kind of drinks we like, if we're early risers or night owls, and what our perfect day would be so I gave them our perfect sea day. I wasn't expecting it this soon so that was nice. I'm looking forward to hearing from our actual Genie so we can get the our cruise plan in place. Yes I will do a report when I get back.

Just wanted to let everyone know we sail September 25th on the Harmony and I received our Genie survey this morning. I'm so excited to see how the survey pertains to our actual cruise.

Here's my trip report from Marseilles http://www.smallworldtastes.com/day-3-marseilles/
Thank you so much for the report. I have read it multiple times and the information is wonderful! Do you have the sea day activities schedule?
-
The train looks fun. We may get off for a few hours to do that. Thanks for the info!!!!

With 3 long tours in Italy we are thinking of staying on the ship in Marseilles for an extra "sea" day. Is there anything we really shouldn't miss on shore?
-
We had 2 cabins with 2 adults and 4 under 21. Booked an adult in each cabin. One with 1 adult and 1 under 21. The other with 1 adult and 3 under 21. When we got onboard we just switched so myhusband be I were together and all the kids were together. Both of the room stewards knew and it was fine. The kids room steward knew we were their parents and who was in charge. We had no problems at all.

Do you have the sea day schedule? I didn't see it on your post.

Please post the cruise compasses if you have them. Thank you!!!!!

How was your genie? What special things did they do for you?

I am hoping to get the attention of someone on that sailing so they will post them.

I would love it if someone would post the daily activity schedule for the Barcelona sailings on Harmony of the Seas.

DH uploaded some 900 photos on his website. I´m still working on my review of the 2 night pre inaugural out of Barcelona. We visited some of the show cabins but not all of them (way too less time for this). Photos of the cabins visited are online too (including our Boardwalk Balcony).
As for the balcony tables: We had a large table on our Boardwalk balcony. I also saw large tables on the Central Park balconies. But all oceanview balconies have those tiny tables!

We were in cabin 1722 port side. I don't remember the stewards name but he and his assistant were excellent. Our genie was Alexandra and we didn't ask for a lot but she was great. You will love the saved seats at the shows and coastal kitchen. The shows aqua and skating were very abstract and didn't make sense. The I know in the skating show she was dreaming but still strange I would rather see something light and fun. The Columbus show was just that and my favorite. It was the best for kids.
