We have booked the Tuscan Grill a few times for the first night of our cruises and have always done this in advance as we too have heard the first night in Blu is not the best. My question is should we wait until we board to make our reservations this time for the first night? Do they have openings and what discount should we look for?

I booked a reservation for the first night as well when I saw the offer. There was no place to put a discount code but recall reading somewhere later that the 20% would be credited to the on board account. I hope this is the case.

When booking our cruise I chose the insurance option through the cruiseline. I then paid the cruise deposit. It shows that we have purchased the insurance on our reservation and our final deposit is due within a month. Does this mean we have already purchased the insurance in regard to their pre-existing conditions stipulation or does that begin once we make our final payment? I'm confused.

I am looking at a Bermuda cruise for next August. Would it be better to book now or take a chance and wait to see about a deal when onboard? Is this cutting it too close?

We set up our own tour with Cayman Safari and are scheduled to go to many of the places you are looking at plus a few others and lunch. Contact them, they were great to work with setting the tour up. Won't know how it turns out until December!

We always leave the tips on the account but just wondering, what is an average extra amount to tip the cabin attendant every couple of days on the cruise?

We are booked too on the same New Year's cruise and we're able to book a cabana. Maybe they're sold out??
