Hi guys and gals. Cruising in 2 rooms next weekend on the breakaway with a 14 year old 16 year old and a 17 year old. If we upgrade to a thermal spa club balcony room can the "kids" utilize the thermal spa with us?

I made that same mistake once a few years ago, never again. My kids were miserable, college kids litteraly filled the pool and pool area from open to.close and when I say filled litteraly filled and drank. Roudy and loud, never spring break and never a short cruise like the sky when the newly 21 years olds get sloppy drunk constantly for "free"

I booked a May 2019... so long to wait...

Also, the option to bid is not available until after final payment date (80 days usually) ... and, if you booked with a travel agent you may never receive the option to bid since some TAs have opted out.

My kids ages 12, 11, and 9 loved our cruise in February. They did not participate in kids club. We did take them to it to see it but decided it wasnt for us. Kids hung out with my wife and I and spent lots and lots of time in the pools. Taking them back on the Rpic next week and everyone is looking forward to it.

if boarding started at 9 or 10 why would it take 6+ hours thats crazy :(

Will the water be warm enough to plan a day of snorkeling when were at GSC in the middle of December? Thanks in Advance!

Do they sell white hot clothes stuff on the Epic or do we need to bring those items with us? I have kids i want to take to it ages 12,11, and 9 didnt know if they have "special" stuff we can by for the party.

I havent seen any threads of anyone talking about it. The NCL poker cruise is coming up December 10th, 7 nights on the Epic. HAs anyone participated before that can shed light on how the tournament unfolds and the little side tournaments on other days.

I have my spot and am excited to be going, just seeing who else out there might be also.

My wife and I have the dining plan on our next cruise in December. My children did not get it as it was not part of the promotion at the time i booked. My question is; i can bring my kids to the restaurants and they can order "free" off of the kids menu is that correct?

I had one of the large ones in February and it was a great day. It was nice having a waiter and snacks. Along with the fan and the hammock which was relaxing. $500 is a crazy amount of money to rent it for a few hours. I thought when i spent $350 on it last time that was pricey but i cannot stomach another 150 for the same thing. Its a shame because that was one of my favorite things NCL had going for it.

Does someone have the list of cards it is good for? I would get an AMEX just for this deal

We will be sailing on the Sky in June. We're perfectly happy with having our meals in the MDR or buffet, but if we wanted to use one of the specialty restaurants (and pay extra), can we reserve a table once we board...or do we need to purchase the UDP--which I really don't want to do because I want to remain as flexible as possible. What are the charges for the specialty restaurants? Are they ala carte or is there a flat upcharge?

I was on the sy a few weeks ago. Ther restaurants can be a la cart and you can make reservations once on board. The only one that was busy while i was on board was Cagneys.

Any chance you kept the dailies from your cruse and would be willing to share?

I was also on this sailing with my wife and 3 young children (Ages 12,11,9). I agree NCL should have told me when i booked. I thought it was to early for spring break. I spoke with the people from CPC (college party cruise). He told me be thankful it was this cruise (500college kids) the one next week is 800 and the one the week following will have 1500 of the 2000 people will be college kids. Can you imagine running in to that as a older couple or family with young small children.

It was so bad we spent almost no time on deck, we had to go to the pool at 8am in the morning if we wanted to use it at all which sucked for my kids.

I will say that the private island was amazing but the food there wasnt as good as it had been in the past.

Thanks i know it was in for maintenance a few months ago and wasn't sure if they fixed it or not.

My friend told me the app does not work on the Sky. Can anyone confirm or deny? Thanks for your help.

I recently won a trip for two on the NCL Poker Cruise for 10th December this year out of Port Canaveral on the Epic for a week. Prize is an inside cabin for two and entry for 1 to the tournament which costs around $1,250 entrance fee.

 

In short my partner and I are expecting in July and even though she's happy with me going, I don't want to be away from her or our baby so I'm putting this up for sale (hope it okay to post here). I spoke to NCL and they've emailed me a change of person form. I got offered $1,300 on the ship at the time but unfortunately our paths never crossed again, so I'd like $1,000 or if UK £700.
