May I ask where you got the red dress, I LOVE it. You look really pretty in all the pics!

on our first cruise I had to go to naughty room for my flat iron. They thought it was a clothes press. thank goodness we lock our luggage, I still think that if it wouldnt have been locked I would've not have my flat iron that cruise.

Martini mom, you look beautiful!! Love those dresses, did you do your own hair in the previous pic? Very nice up do.

Hello everyone -
I'm a plus sized girl and I have a difficult time finding bathing suits that I think look good on me. I went to JCPenney for the first time to shop (EVER) this weekend. I found a selection of suits that was 1. reasonable and 2. super cute.
Just thought I'd mention it. We all probably have a JCP in our area and it's worth taking a look if you're in need of a bathing suit.
PrincessE, thanks so much for posting this. I picked up a really cute tankini and swim shorts today at JCP. I couldnt believe that 3 days before my cruise I actually found a suit that fits my boobs. (Usually cant find any bathing suits that are cute that I am not afraid of bending over and flashing everyone)

Has anyone done the sleep park and cruise package at the Holiday Inn express out of Baltimore? The website says it is only 1 mile, 5 minutes from the cruise port so it sounds like a pretty good deal for 109.00. Any info would be appreciated. Also can anyone tell me how the shuttle service works for these packages. How do you schedule a ride to cruise port and when your cruise is done how do they know to come and pick you up?

Hampton Inn and Suites in West Ashley is a great location. Right next door is one of our favorite sushi/hibachi restaurants. There is a Food Lion and CVS within walking distance as well as a pretty nifty bar called Halligan's. The bartenders can be a little moody but the atmosphere is good and sometimes they have live bands. You are also about 5 minutes from the mall. I live in West Ashley and grew up there and while some areas are sketchy, that one is not at all sketchy.:D
Let me know if you want me to get some pics for ya.
Oh, and double check with the reservations specialist because I have heard here and there on these boards that transportation to and from the port is not included. Best to be sure!
Thank you so much. I have been wanting to try hibachi for a long time now so it looks like it will be a good time to do it when we get down there. I did call Hampton to ask about how the transpertation works and they do shuttle us to the port when we leave and also pick us up when we get back. I think that the website said it is only 6 miles from the port, so if anything goes wrong we will be close enough to call a cab. Again thanks so much for all the help:) (excuse my spelling...lol unless I am writting a formal paper I dont spell check)

Got another question for ya:) I booked our hotel for our cruise and was wondering what you thought about it. I booked the snooze and cruise package at the Hampton Inn & Suites Charleston/West Ashley

LOL I keep coming back to your post to figure out the answers to all my questions. I got a couple more for you if you don’t mind......First, when you were on Free port, was it an excursion that yall did, and if not then how did you find your way around and down to the beach on your own? (were there signs pointing you in the right direction, were there fees to use that beach?) I do not want to spend a ton of money thru carnival just for them to take me shopping and then to a public beach, especially when that sounds exactly what yall did for pretty cheap on your own. Second, we are considering doing the Blue water/catamaran snorkel on Nassau, did you like it, would you recommend it? Hubby cannot swim very well, but I have been told that everyone wears a life vest so I am hoping he will be all right. Again thanks so much for your help : ) P.S. this probably will not be the last time I email ya since we don’t sail until Sept. 24...haha

What great info. Hubby and I will be going on the Fantasy in Sept. I will also be one of the people taking pics of the food....LOl dont really care what my table mates will think of me. Hubby has some pretty weird tats so we are used to getting "crazy" looks. haha
P.S. Keep up the awsome review, cant wait to see more : )
Anyone used Chad4nature for a tour in Freeport?
in Bahamas

Hubby and I loved Chad! He was our tour guide when we went on our cruise last year. We met him when he was a guide for a carnival sponsered tour, the Western Heritage Tour. He is a very nice guy and very knowledgable. We have never been on one of his independent tours but would not hesitate to book with him.
