  1. Me and the DH are going to MoBay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel in 3 weeks on the Conquest. 2nd Carnival Cruise, 1st time on Conquest.

     

    We are doing the Hannibal Catamaran Stingray City Snorkel Tour in GC and Nachi Cocom in Cozumel. Just gonna wing it in MoBay.

     

    Is there anything different or anything that stands out on the Conquest?

  2. LOL Kelmac, I'm with you on the Brussel Sprouts and Eggplant too!!!

     

    On Christmas Day my daughter's mother-in-law had made two pies. A Banana Creme and a Coconut Creme. She had cut slices of the Coconut Creme and leaned over and started to cut slices of the Banana Creme with the same knife:eek: My daughter and I screamed at the same time, can you imagine she was going to contaminate that good Banana Creme with Coconut:( Just the thought makes me shudder. I could never be on "Survivor". They are always eating Coconuts and drinking the milk. Uggggh

     

    I don't like my food to touch on my plate or use the same serving spoon in two differnt dishes.. no matter what the food is. I usually eat out of a divided plate. Now my husband will mix his whole plate up and eat it...ugh

  3. Lane Bryant convertible bras are the best strapless ones I've found. They're a weird fit though, so make sure to have someone measure and fit you in the store and take a few in the dressing room to try on. I used to really be uncomfortable in strapless bras until I tried that one, now I wear them pretty much all summer with tank tops and spaghetti straps.

  4. I don't eat any kind of berry. It's mostly a texture thing. I like the flavor of some berries, but can't chew a berry to save my life.

    The only fruit I eat are apples, oranges, bananas and can peaches.

    I love tomato sauce, ketchup and spaghetti sauce, but can not eat a raw tomato. Ones that are cooked down really well are okay if I chew them with other food. (Chilli, stew)

    Just a few of my quirks!!:p

  5. We stayed there in March and paid nothing for parking. If you book through Galveston.com your parking is free. You may have to remind the receptionist of this.

    Their breakfast is just juice, coffee, danish and fruit. Nothing fancy, but enough to hold you over until you can get to the ship and pig out!

    Their staff is few and never really seen. Wasn't a big deal for us. They were there when we needed them. We had a problem with a light in the bathroom shorting out, but it was tended to fast.

    The location can't be beat. The kids loved watching the ship pass by that morning (me too)! When you make your reservation just ask for a room with a good view of the harbor.

    We plan on staying there on our next cruise!

    I give it an A+!

  6. I've got about 2 months until we cruise and I've got to get motivated more about walking. I feel so flabby since losing weight. I need to tighten up... Spanx can only do so much..lol!

    Ladies don't fret too much over popcorn ( a small amout anyway ) It's a good carb and has a bit of fiber. I eat a couple of handfulls when we go to the movies and stay in my carb allowance. If you know you're going to the movies just keep your count real low for the day until you go. I don't always do this but, I bounce back fast from popcorn.

    Does anyone know a good exercise to fix my flabby arms? I've tried some and haven't seen too much of a result. Do I need to do more reps or more weight? How does that work?

    Still have quite a ways to go. I told my husband.." I have lost 85 lbs. and I'm still fat. How dang fat was I?" .. Then I dared him to answer!!!

  7. Hi there! I've been on Atkins for about 10 months now and have lost 82 lbs. Could've been more but I took a couple of week long breaks.

    It's the only diet that works for me. I love the Ketone Test strips. As long as they show any kind of pink or purple, you are burning fat.

    I've been planning our cruise the whole time that I've been dieting and it's been a great motivator.

    P.S. My husband started the diet last week to get ready for the cruise. Men lose very fast on this diet!! It's sick!
