  1. A clip-on pouch that can be worn during the day.

Sunglasses at night aren't an issue so just take the glasses and wear them.

I get round it by wearing contact lenses and shades, DH has reactolite rapide lens, they are great for driving especially as they react without having to swop glasses whilst driving.

p.s. clip on sunspecs are only really carried off well by the over sixties, fine if you are in that age group, but if you're not they'll look a bit 'unusual'

  2. I write a list of everything I want to take, then score off a few things that I know are wants rather than needs.

Then I pack the cases, weigh them just to make sure, and off we go!

We flew to Florida for a 2 week holiday last Christmas, our cases weighted 8,9 and 11 kilograms each. That's 17.5, 19.8 and 24.2 lbs

Full size toiletries and all the clothes I wanted. Our carry ons had no spare clothing, just a book, Nintendo DS etc. for our entertainment.

  3. We've used the UK vistaprint for T shirts before, for a friend's 40th birthday party, they weren't any more expensive than buying a plain T shirt.

Have people who cruised before noticed families wearing themed T shirts, like some families do in Disneyworld?

I thought it might be a nice thing to do since it's our very first cruise, and it's for my 40th birthday...:D
