I am trying to decide which place to go for a day pass . Has anyone been to either of these places?

This is my 9th cruise 1st time on celebrity. I was curious about the dress code for both men and women in main dining room. My last cruise on Royal Carribean I was shocked that they allowed men wearing cut off jeans and flip flops in main dining room.

Has anyone rented a car in Grand Cayman? I remember reading a previous post someone suggested driving to the south part of the island. Has anyone been there? Is it worth going over there? We have already been to Sting Ray City. I was also thinking of getting a day pass to an all inclusive resort? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone recently visited Guadeloupe? My family and I will be visiting in December. We never book shore excursions with the ship. However we do not speak French so I am not sure what to do. I would like a tour of the town and then would like some beach time at St Anne's beach. Should we rent a car on our own? Has anyone experienced any problems renting a car there?
