I was going to buy the ultimate beverage package for my upcoming trip. I read the description and I understood it to mean that it included:

 

soda, water, juice, coffee/tea (but no cans/bottles)

 

ANY beer, wine, cocktail under $10

 

 

 

No room service, mini-bar, etc.

 

 

 

Now...In doing some pre-cruise forum surfing, I have come across posts talking about the U.B.P. that say a few contradictory things regarding alcoholic beverages. I have read in one post that the UBP DOES NOT include martinis. In another post that it does not include the daily "specialty" drink, in yet another that it doesn't include any cocktail with more than 2 different types of liquor in it.

 

 

 

The policy itself is pretty vague. I tried calling NCL, but after being on hold for 15 mins, I figured I'd try here instead. So before I invest almost $900 (2 people, 7 days), can anyone clarify if there are any exclusions beyond the "over $10" one for alcoholic drinks?

I drank Martinis and Drinks of the Day our entire cruise on Getaway last week. They were delicious!!!! Also, try the red sangria! :) Yum Yum

ETA: I also drank Grey Goose and club sodas. I thought It would be bottom shelf liqueur but they said no, if I wanted Grey Goose then it was included.

Good Morning Everyone,

 

I am live from the Pool Deck. They are changing out the coffee so I decided to get started while I am waiting.

 

We selected our "Official Bar" for the cruise yesterday! It is in the Casion and is the only inside bar that allows smoking all of the time. There are others that allow smoking late at night.

 

I ordered my first "Aspin Summer" of the cruise last night!

 

I tried ordering this twice on the Allure in May and no one knew what it was!! :( I was so sad!!

UGH!! Too Long!!!
