My wife has pretty bad allergies to any smoke.  You all are making me very nervous for our upcoming Silver Dawn cruise in April!!

Wes- were you able to actually book and confirm a ride?  System would not let me complete the booking??

We are booked in a Silver Suite for the Silver Dawn sailing on 1 April.  When it says dedicated butler, what does this really mean?  How many other suites is the butler shared with typically?

Also on a 7 night sailing what are the dress code nights?  how many formal or semi-formal nights?

I have just got off the phone to my TA in London prior to reading your post. 

Her contact in the London office has confidently stated the following :-

 

- the 48 hour PCR tests will NOT be required at embarkation - the email we have all received is incorrect !

- Silversea will NOT be carrying out tests at embarkation - despite the comment in the email.

- a new Email will sent soon, replacing the previous erroneous one.

 

So - I guess we wait for the replacement email for confirmation of the Silversea error ! 

What a shambles !!! 

This is at least good news, that they realized what a colossal error it was and are on to correcting the mistake.  Eagerly awaiting the retraction

Can someone provide an email address for execs at SS we can email and protest this backwards step to require PCR?

This is a ridiculous backward step for Silversea.  many countries are dropping PCR tests for fully vaccinated travelers.  So if my wife and I are triple vaccinated we still have to submit to an invasive PCR test before boarding. Ridiculous. We need to move forward people!

We are on Dawn for April 1 sailing out of Lisbon!  Seems like its a go!

Hi , we are not experienced cruisers but are interested in the April 1 Dawn sailing for 7 nights from Lisbon. We did see one suite show available this weekend.  Alas we failed to book it and asked our travel agent to book it Monday, now it is gone!  Anyone know how this works?  When is final payment due? Hoping someone cancels so we can get a spot!

A couple more questions on the H4 category on Getaway:

-On the pictures and videos I have seen it doesn't look like there is a door for the master bedroom (between MBR and living room)??  Is it a sliding door and does it lock?

- What brand of toiletries should we expect in this cabin on Getaway?  Bulgari ?
