So glad to hear you enjoyed it Joe. We loved our cruise and want to go again! The caribbean is calling us for next year though... Never been on Celebration or Dream and like both itineries so don't know which one to choose.
Cruisin Linda, our hairdryer on the Majesty was quite poor, but then again I use mine on full speed so maybe it wasn't that bad!

Jim the Scot, the lager was San Miguel.
Little Nell, I always buy my wine from Aldi, I've just never paid £9 for it, so yes, the wine on the cruise was a very nice bottle! :)

I posted this in another thread but I think it got a little lost so here's a repost. Does anyone have any up to date prices for the wine package and the beer package? And how does this compare to the " normal "price of a bottle of wine and a pint of beer? We've never bought the packages before, we've either had AI or just paid bar prices.
We were on the Majesty a couple of weeks ago and we bought a lager package of 35 pints for £103 and a 4 (5 with freebie) bottle wine package for £65. We had a choice of any 4 bottles from wine list red/white/rose plus 1 "free" house wine and 4 1.5l bottles of water. The cheapest bottle was about £15 but we chose bottles which were £20 to £23 (ship's price - I saw our £23 bottle for £9 in Aldi!) There were other more expensive wine packages for more bottles/different "free bottle" etc. A pint of lager was £3.70 so we saved about £27 on the lager package and we managed to make the 5 bottles of wine last all week as we only drank wine in the MDR at dinner. It was the cheapest bar bill of all our four Thomson cruises :)

We also had a fabulous week on the Majesty. It was lovely to be able to say hello to campolady too.:)

Thanks Joe! Getting very excited now - Thomson have just rung to offer us a cabin upgrade, but at £280 we said "No, thank you." That will more than cover our bar bill, so there will be plenty of drink left for your cruise!

Thank you for a great review. We are sailing on the Celebration for the first time in April and your review has reassured me!
