  1. How does uber work, do you pre pay?

    Is a tip required

    How safe is it?

Used uber from the airport to the ship with a stop at a grocery store. From the ship to downtown hotel. To dinner and back. And back to the airport. Couldn't have been easer. Sign up with PayPal or a credit card and everything is automatic and cheaper that taxis.

  2. I don't know what your budget is, but one of the best tours we have ever done was with My Island Tours by Javin. It was a fantastic day, doing a variety of things, and going to places others do not. Also we have taken Poinciana tours they were very good also. check them both out on Tripadvisor, they both get excellent reviews.

+1. We loved our Javin tour! The kids will love all aspects of the day.

  3. We just got off the reflection on 1/21/17 and stayed in aqua and dined in blu. I had escargot every night and Cesar salad twice. One of the nights I asked for the main dining room menu just to see if it offered something I would like. I was given the menu without question but ordered from the Blu menu. Ordering from the main dining room was definitely an option.

  4. Even with the drink package, I always tip them well. When I walk out to the Sunset Bar, my beer is always on ice, and I don't have to wait in line. ;)

Agree tip a dollar cash every round except if I had to wait a long time. Never have an empty drink

  5. I got turned away at the door of Blu on our last cruise. Knew the rule but always wear shorts (even in our Midwest winters) and thought I'd give it a try. Maitre d politely asked me to change while my wife laughed at me. When I returned we both had a laugh and my drink was waiting for me [emoji483][emoji106]

  6. Will the bartender at pool fill these with drinks at the pool? I like them to keep my drinks cold and make them spill proof.

I have always use my travel mug on board (and everywhere). At first the bartenders are reluctant to fill it but watching me pour the drink into my mug and hand them back the glass usually converts them. :D

  7. Blu is the best and the main reason we book Aqua Class. Service is top notch in a more intimate atmosphere than the MDR. We do stop by the MDR daily to see if there is anything that we would like better than what is offered in Blu. Have never ordered a MDR item in Blu as the items offered in Blu are sooo Good! To be honest our first cruise on the Solstice we did dine one night in the MDR to check it out. Not only did us showing up for Select Dining create mass confusion as to where to seat us but the food and service was nowhere near the caliber of Blu. When we returned the next night our servers asked where we were the previous night. They were genuinely concerned when we told them of our experience, they welcomed us back.
