Just an FYI re: Statue of Liberty. It is closed for renovation and probably won't reopen until about Nov 1, 2012. You can still visit Liberty Island, but you can't go inside the Statue or even its base and pedestal.
Another FYI re: visiting the B&H and Adorama camera stores. Both close early on Friday (B&H generally earlier than Adorama) and both are closed all day Saturday.
The Adorama Store is open until 2:00 pm on Fridays from now and through the winter - until further notice.
